Mounting 1955 -1959 Chevy/GMC truck on a C10 frame / E-Z Chassis Swap Kit / C10 Frame swap

Nice clean job. When I did my conversion, they did not have this bracketry. I used a 1976 Camaro with floor shift. I used the existing bracketry (under dash). I shortened it to fit between dash and firewall. The Camaro bracket had the pedal already in place, along with brake switch and column drop for the larger diameter steering column. A couple of enlarged holes on the dash and it hung in place. I used the brake booster, M/C and proportioning valve. A piece of angle iron and a u-bolt and the steering column was mounted at the toe-board penetration. I used the remaining Camaro front end and grafted it to the stock frame. To my surprise that truck never needed an alignment after the swap. A cable floor mounted shifter(B&M) took care of gear selection. Keep up the good work and stay cool.

I'm wondering why when all the C10 guys replace their frames with Crown Vic frames that you would use a C10 frame instead of a Crown Vic? If u were trying to get a better IFS than the C10 seems like a bad choice as it's typically replaced. I guess the bright spot being the C10 chassis should be cheap?

This is the proper way to add modern front suspension on these trucks. I say that because a friend is hacking his up now to put a camaro subfram under it. I've watched these swaps and I'm baffled why you would want a weakened frame under your truck. I found two rolling frames for under 1000.00 dollars for him. This swap adds modern front and rear suspension with much stronger , easier frame shortening.

That kit saved a lot of time for mounting the cab, great job, where is the kit available?
