Dude I have to give you PROPS....you get in there and just get it DONE....Great Job. Keep it up!

Awesome build man. I’d recommend running your coupler on the tank side and male plug on hose side that way you can take out the screw valve and still pressurize your tank.

ducaria good idea!!

Great set up. Mine is not that elaborate. I just got a air compressor and a air tank. A few quick connects and that’s about it. But mine is just for airing up tires. Liked your video anyway.

thurman i switched over to a co2 tank. 10lb. Powertank inflator. Arb hose. Lasts forever and it’s not as bulky or complicated as the compressors!

Im doing just about the same thing tomorrow, for my work truck onboard air and my air bags. just my 2 cents, put a 10a fuse between your 70a and the toggle switch to protect the switch.

DANE SPRINGER i added one afterwards. I received a lot of comments with this suggestion. Thanks for watching!

Cool build looks like it will work well. One warning is that compressor gets really hot after running for a bit I have the same one
@developmentdivision122
@developmentdivision122 6 лет назад
The Bearded Jeeper yeah they run hot. But for 50$ they work well and pack a punch. I’ll probably change my set up in a few months or so, so far it has worked well though.

Chris Meacham I just don’t want them to catch your carpet on fire but yes they are a great low buck compressor

Thats A LOT of interior noise and loss of much needed Cargo space... they make a tank that fits under the radiator and air compressor mount next to master cylinder... might as well add train horns to the system... I have quick connects at the front and rear of my rig now to air up front and rear tires... synergy makes the mount for air tank and compressor good job
@developmentdivision122
@developmentdivision122 6 лет назад
Vinnie Gunns on camera it seems much louder than it is. I’ve turned it on while driving a few times just to see how loud it is and it isn’t half bad. And Like ive said, i don’t really use the cargo area very much. But yeah I’m thinking about the train horn thing... thanks!

Man great job .. thanks for sharing I wish i was smart like you brother and save my self lots of money . Question.. will work to fill up 37s tires ?

Awesome build. Doing same but in a car for air horn. Something I’m not sure about is can I drive around with a charged tank? Do you drive with tank Empty only? Thanks
@developmentdivision122
@developmentdivision122 2 года назад
I believe you can drive with a charged tank. Many people who use on board air for airbag suspension, run a charged tank. I personally don’t really drive with a full tank. However, I have been driving around with a co2 tank lately,..

Hey thanks for the video. Just a question, I would like to do the same thing (two compressors going into one tank) but would like the setup to remain portable using the jumper cables instead of fixed. What changes would be made electrical wise?
@developmentdivision122
@developmentdivision122 6 лет назад
Bader H pretty much all my electrical stuff for the compressors can be cut out. Since you’re running off jumpers you’ll just connect the cables to the battery then flick the switches on the compressors to turn them on. As far as the cut off switch (on tank) you will just need to monitor the pressure instead of using the cut off. To save you some headache messing around with electricals. So basically cut everything out. The jumper solution will make this set up super super simple wire wise. There are already fuses built into the compressors (along the power wire)
@baderh7880
@baderh7880 6 лет назад
Thanks for the quick reply. I would really like to keep the cutoff switch working because it would be a hassle switching two compressors on and off. I think I will try to follow your wiring diagram and connect all the grounds together to a ground jumper cable. Thanks again!
@developmentdivision122
@developmentdivision122 6 лет назад
Bader H okay, just follow the diagram it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out the cut off switch. You probably just have to run the power cable from the battery to the cut off switch, then to the compressors. (Also use proper gauge wires). For combining the grounds just use proper gauge wire. I don’t want you melting them and starting a fire. Goodluck!
@baderh7880
@baderh7880 6 лет назад
Will definitely use properly sized wires (8 or 6 gauge) and fuses. Thanks man

Bader H yeah man let me know how it goes. I’m on instagram @glacier_jk

You had ZERO pressure on the gauge, maybe 1psi in the tank because your valve passes straight through. You need the female coupler on the tank.
