What a way to find out about the passing of Rab Pinkman. He was in charge of the band at APC ACC 86-88 and I met him again while attached to 1st Bn KOSB at Redford barracks. Top fella!

I played in the lead flute section with them when they won the All Ireland many years ago. This is much better. best melody/part band bar none

Its not that hard to play on a flute, its just getting the speed up :)

sticking across the snare line doesn't match

just doesn't sound as good as on the bagpipes ,great playing though being a flautist for 14 year and now playing the bagpipes i know how difficult it is to sound that good

Not sure it fits this style... stick to the pipes
