Imagine your team loses the match, and they all do this taunt in sync

Finally, as a medic main, i can express my true feelings whenever that 120hp scout steals the medkit and i am about to die of third degree burns

I was already on board, but the backpack icon really sold me haha

Hearing Pyro cry is like actually heart breaking

I like the idea of doing this with heavy and calling medic when my medic dies

Yes Finally we can mourn the death of a fellow friendly as he has been brutally slaughterd by a heartless scunt

They all feel so in-character! The differences are everything: Soldier punching the ground, Medic's gasp bringing a hand to his mouth, Pyro and Scout being the ones who sob, Sniper trying to hold back and stay professional, Spy feeling embarrassed afterwards, it's all so good!

1:00 Gotta love how Medic doesn't look like he's mourning, but more worried that he's running out of living test subjects

1:07 the engineer witnessed the spy death, and try to fake it, but couldn't stop laughing out of pure joy.

I like that little trick where you used the scout’s laugh as crying, very clever!

I like how everyone uses the heavy’s WAAAh voice for himself crying despite him original saying it to make fun of the enemy.

Sniper's my favourite, it's like he's too sad to even do the classic hand swing thing, so all he can muster is a half-hearted ground kick.

I love how spy actually is crying and then looks around realises there are people around and pretends nothing happened is very funny

0:30 this split second head-shot caught me SO of guard. That timing cracked me up. Perfectly cut scream as well. A roller-coaster of emotion, truly.

What I love the most is how in-character they all are, for real! Soldier screams in rage and pain, Pyro cries like a child, Spy displays sadness but quickly pats himself into his usual demeanor, Medic seems taken aback and lost. This is perfect, it NEEDS to be added, idc when but it just HAS TO, great job!

The fact that Spy looks around to see if there’s anyone seeing him cry is something Spy would do.

I was really hoping for a taunt like this after my eyes were opened with the scardy-cat taunt! Really need a way to grieve on the battlefield; Bottling up those emotions isn't healthy!

I love the stoicism in the Sniper's mourning animation. You've captured their personalities really well.

Duuuude! The animation is spot on. Even valve's own taunts seem a little, hammy or too bouncy? Hard to describe, but your animation fits the mercs' body languages perfectly! Very well made

Soldier holding onto his helmet as he gets up is a nice detail

always appreciate when taunts stay true to the characters, especially when it's an all-class taunt they could've all just had an over-the-top grieving animation, but instead they all get something more in-line with how each of them would act. particularly love how little the medic actually seems to care. scout's and demo's are a bit weaker in that regard imo, but they're still good and well-animated and such. no idea how much thought was actually put in and could totally be overanalyzing as i often do, but i still think it's neat ^^'

this fits perfectly for my teammates when I "accidentally" killbind every round.

I like how at the end of the taunt they slowly return to the pose instead of snapping back, very nice

This has got to be the most memeable workshop taunt I've seen, might actually replace when players would normally killbind.

This taunt has the potential to create some of the funniest moments the game has ever seen. Just like the scaredy cat did.

I always wanted a defeated taunt, Whenever we win a match, I use the Oblooterated, but I never had one for losing. I will absolutely upvote this!

Finally, some actual taunts and not a bunch of baby cars for Mercenaries. It's literally the opposite of "Schadenfreude" and i love it. Crying on how bad your team is(matchmaking sucks) in comparison to enemy, crying how you've lost your only Medic, Getting cornered by whole enemy team, Observe how every single one of your team just died and you couldn't help them, because you're the slowest class it's just as many situations as with laughing taunt. I have a new ideas for an All Class taunts: _"Idle Animation"_ (Basically a special taunt for all classes which makes them do something while they're not fighting) Like Spy leaning onto a wall, smoking a cigarette and looking around while doing so. Same with other classes. Scout could "fight" with the air by using Bat as if he's practicing baseball hits Or make him sit on the ground and do that animation from "Meet the Scout" where he sits on a Heavy's unconscious body and eating his Sandwich and looking around. I don't know that Soldier might do, but *Pyro* - _I've had enough of his taunts, they're too childish for a pyromaniac psycho like him._ As an example of what he could do while in idle: Sharpen his Axe, Fill his Flamethrower with Gasoline, Play with enemy team's Heads, Just watch how some corpse is burning while laughing horrifyingly at it. And etc. I have no time for writing more ideas for each merc now, maybe later. But if anyone would do this taunt, Mercs who does this, must be looking around constantly as if they're looking at a battle or just friendly server having fun. Also there could be implemented some taunts from SFMs, maybe some mastermind could find one in "Emesis Blue" as well. I'm living on these SFMs and making Mercs more SFM-like would help TF2 a lot. But better not OVERDO these taunts with flashy moves, like here you did with Demoman, like who moves like That then he gets drunk? As if he's actively trying to fall, but couldn't because gravity doesn't allow him. Still, good taunt you've made, looking forward to see it in-game someday!

I love the idea and execution, I only wished that Pyro would have two versions, where his current one is overly feminine, he could have another where it is super macho sadness, and does an overly dramatic kneel of some sort while holding his head, like the statue "The Thinker", and much like with the "Director's cut" taunt, it would be random which one occurs

I'm so glad this is in the game. Now I can properly say I am mourning a death.
