Gem video, so cozy and informative. This will serve as a comfort video for when I'm feeling vulnerable and like the world is scary, happens to me like twice a year.
Wow! What a masterpiece of testing and enthusiasm! Although I am just at the beginning of the video I can already tell from the beautiful choice of the music soundtrack that I will be soaked up with enjoyment, I have no doubt in your unique talent of providing us with some quality data :) As always I am thankful for your work, keep it up! I enjoy and appreciate your brilliant content Fratello. I hope the days have been good to you and for better days to come speedily :)
Oh, hi there K Y! Yes, I've been passionate about microswitches for a while now, more than I'd like to admit. But, you know, we spend our lives pressing buttons... so it's only fair to give them some affection :D As always, thank you very much for the kindness of your words: it's incredibly rare to experience it nowadays. I wish you all the best to you too! PS: A shout out to Purrple Cat [ youtube.com/@PurrpleCat ], who has been my source of lofi/chill background beats since the very beginning 💜
@@encapsulatio Among the ones I tried... Huano Silent White or Yellow, without a doubt! 09:34 and 09:46 EDIT: I don't have any Kailh Silent Switches because I'm not sure if they fit into the hotswap sockets on my Keris.
@@encapsulatio I can't hear any significant difference between them... so I'd buy the yellow ones for their (allegedly) longer life: 20 vs. 10 million clicks ;)
Criminally low amount of views! Hard to find tests like this specially on the newer versions of Huanos. So do you actually use the "Noctua"/Huano Brown Silent Yellow switches as your main switches? I've used silent switches before but it was the square red ones by Kailh. I didn't really like the lack of tactility but do enjoy the silence. Do the Huano browns still feel tactile?
Eh... the algorithm has never rewarded my videos, unfortunately D: Yes, I do use the Silent Yellows on a daily basis: they feel like normal switches, only... silent (sorry, I can't really compare them to the Kailh Squares, as I've never owned them).
@@oakenglass Their algo is a fickle thing. I actually got recommended your video, didn't show up when I searched for Huano switches. Think I'll just get a pair to test. I do recommend you try the square ones, Kailh released a newer version of it too, yellow dots.
Probably, from least to most: Kiwi - Ananas - Prugna. But really... they're so similar that I don't even know why Huano bothered to release all three: one would have been enough!
