Awesome and simple video without unnecessary talking. I wanted to see how the program works in action and You explained it thoroughly in this quick video. Thanks so much!
FYI: Problem solved: If you are using Logitech's Easy switch with two computers Microsoft Garage Mouse without borders will not work unless you remove one of the Easy switch USBs from one of the computers. Took me a while but I figured it out and now the mouse and keyboard work seamlessly.
This option didn’t work for me, because I was using two diferente laptops. And when clicking on display I couldn’t find the set up to choose one or the other screen BUT what worked for me is this: I opened mouse without borders, went to OTHER OPTIONS and chose WRAP MOUSE. And it’s working smoothly without jumping. Hope this works for others
I like to control my work pc and personal pc with one mouse and keyboard. My work pc runs on VPN. Due to different networks it not working. Is there any solution to that problem?
I know if you disable the adding, the mouse won't jump from monitor to monitor. You can also define the shared border (right or left side and whether there is a couple rows shared or just right to left sharing)
my two pc connected with crossover lan cable... i want use this app... can help me out .. i tried very much. firewall settings , inbound settings.. reply me
I have MWB set up over two laptops. It is working fine at the moment but when I have the mouse focus on the opposite laptop, I cannot use the Windows trackpad gesture navigation gestures on the laptop on which the mouse focus instead but instead the gesture navigations work on the laptop on which I am doing the gestures on the trackpad. The same thing happens when I switch mouse focus and laptop trackpad to their opposite counterparts. Have you ever tried this or got this to work? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. (Examples of the Windows gesture navigations I mean are three finger swiping to change window focus and four finger swiping to change virtual desktop.)
You sure can use a wireless keyboard and/or mouse - on either computer. Essentially the peripherals from one computer can be leveraged on the other - really handy.
I don't think there is an easy way to do this. Why at the same time (you could type the command on one system and then type it on the second - if one or both are touch screens, you could queue it up to execute and then touch both computers at the same time - that would work
Can I use this "mouse without borders" for two laptops to be run from wireless keyboard and mouse? Second question, could I do that same above, but wired to only one of the laptops, or would I need a central usb or hmdi port hub that both laptops would be connect to / via?!
Mac - you can use a wired or wireless connection and the keyboard and mouse shouldn’t matter (as long as they can “talk” or are paired to one computer). The advantage of this program is you don’t need a fancy a/b switch or anything else - the software and the network connection between the devices is what shares the mouse and keyboard. It’s really a fun program and completely free.
@Ausipa - sure. Are you using a wired or wireless network? Public or private definitions? There is a default firewall to be confirmed and from there we can troubleshoot what's going on
