I feel your pain moving into a dirty home. I was fortunate I had my first two homes a month before moving in, but this last house it was a disgusting mess, even worse than yours even though they promised to clean it before they moved. I had no time to clean before moving in. The movers dumped everything all in one place and box on top of boxes. I couldn’t find my cleaning things, it was a nightmare and I was so exhausted for a good long while.

Ryan baby - I feel your pain..I am learning people have different levels of clean and the sellers of my home were NASTY!! I haven't even moved into my house yet because of things I need to do!! My house is nasty too & it smells like fried chicken with apple pie!!!!! I bought a dehumidifier to help with the smell...I am getting the ENTIRE house painted...We were changing the vent covers and pulled out a large kids book, a sock, some beads, and some toys - after paint NOW is duct/vent cleaning..Then I will get the carpet cleaned...After all that I can do a deep clean..I threw out the appliances they left because they were covered in grease and filthy...why would you leave that??? Where they do that at??? I only kept the fridge as additional drink storage because it was in decent condition..I was so outdone - this is not the house I saw and decided to purchase...It is what it is and I'm getting it together but know you are not alone!!!

Congrats!!!! Such a beautiful house. Yeah there’s always more cleaning to do in a new place. I recently helped two of my kids move into an apartment. The front of the apartment fridge looked clean until I wiped it and the towel was brown. The floors looked clean but needed a mop badly. Best of luck getting settled into the new place. Just bought a home in the past two weeks, I FEEL your pain!!!! They had a dog and a cat and this house was disgusting, that the professional cleaners I hired couldn’t even do it in one day. The carpet has 13 years of dirt that I will eventually pull up next year. I always say, everything looks pretty in pictures. So happy for you, can’t wait to enjoy all the content and we can do this together! ❤

If you don’t want to clean PAY SOMEONE who will - The End. Why move into a place you know is unclean then complain about having to clean (because I’m sure you were notified about the condition of that property and probably given a discount on the price or off your deposit if you’re renting). Even if you’re building a home from scratch, you’ll still have to clean (somewhat).
