How about getting a trash can JUST for packing materials? Unpack into the can- then reuse the packing materials! Add wheels so you can move from room to room. 😉😘

You could hand sew the new rug you tried to cut. Sturdy needle and thread (or yarn) to match the color of the rug. Wouldn’t take long.

I like the carpet in the new position: lighter and absorbs the noise. Ducktape the cut in the carpet on the back side, so you won't trip over it. ♡

Such a neat place. My fridge died on me two days ago and I just got the same fridge, on sale at Walmart, for $198. Everywhere else were over $300. Perfect size for me.

Just pull out the duct tape and tape the back of that rug. One benefit to shag, its very forgiving to alterations. I have a white shag rug that i love but it was 10 inches too wide. The duct tape worked great.

The best way to paint a fridge or any appliance is to take it to an Auto Body Shop and have them paint it for you. Also front doors. The paint will last a lifetime and they also know the right way to prep the item so the paint sticks to it. Just a suggestion.

It may last longer than the fridge but paint is cheaper. Also with calkboard paint Laurel can draw on it.

@@rikkemeek1506 Auto Body Shops have many kinds of paint and yes even chalkboard. You might surprised on what a shop would charge, my husband has his own shop and he paints so much more than just cars.

As far as your rug, cut it and hot glue the edges with gorilla glue. Done it many times and lasts forever. Cant wait to see the finished result. Keep bringing us along so we can be part of the progress ❤

I’ve never tried denture cleaner to clean glass. But, did you say “bong” cleaner? I’ve been cleaning bongs for 25 years, best thing I’ve found is just straight 90% rubbing alcohol and a hot water rinse (careful, don’t drop it at this point! 😆). Sometimes it takes a couple rounds. Never thought to try it on my vases.

Put varnish over the chalk paint otherwise it'll chip.

It is chalkboard paint not chalk paint. I think most chalkboard paints are ready to use without a sealer or topcoat especially if you want to use chalk on it. Primer as a base coat, yes. Top coat, no. (If it was just chalk paint to change the color certainly it would need to be sealed.)

Can't wait to see the pink fridge done. My mind is in overdrive thinking about painting my mini fridge vintage turquoise....so tempted because I love that color. A pink fridge will look so cute in your colorful space. Oh and the rug is really nice! It has a vintage look to it but since it's modern you won't have to worry about shoes on it.

I was thinking maybe you should see if you can get the cut in the rug fixed. Worried it’s going to fray on you or it could become a tripping hazard. Maybe there’s some kind of bonding glue out there that you can adhere to it. Put something heavy on top to help seal it for a few days. Just a thought. Love you girl!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but, as you have employees you fall under OSHA, as such you cannot store goods on top of that empty space UNLESS you have a stamped engineering plan showing how much weight that area can hold, then you have to post that weight on the side of the area and then you have to make sure you do not exceed it. This is one of the more common General Industry (ie everyone who isn't construction) violations I see written. Since you are more or less publishing your setup, and OSHA can fine from a video or photo, I would recommend a little research before you eat a hefty fine.

I had that happen at my house where the ceiling started leaking because of the air conditioner. all it was was the condensation from the air conditioner has a drip pan and line that was clogged with mold so we poured bleach down the drain to clean the mold out the condensation drain the leak quit
