most of these games are plain fun, and it's cool to see the guys really get into it and try hard. For the people complaining it isn't football. Don't forget that absolutely no one was out there trying during a pro bowl game anymore (and rightly so) because none of these guys are looking to get injured for a game that does not matter. These skill games on the other hand are fairly risk free and just a good old time for these dudes after a long tough season

Don't understand why folks dog the NFL and players for not staging an AS game when NONE of the stars want to play? These type of events are the best alternative to honor the best players, have some competitive fun and make a little extra $$$.

Just have a punt, pass, and kick competition and call it a day. This whole concept is a joke, unless 100% of the proceeds are donated to charitable organizations.

Call me old school what have you but I miss the days when players would compete who could raise the most money for each touchdown made in the pro bowl where players wouldn't want to show up to the pro bowl because they knew Sean Taylor would show up, I miss the old pro bowl where they knew you could be injured at the pro bowl or the very first play of the next regular season cough cough Aaron Rodgers I know that was recent. I miss the days of fun and games before the pro bowl not during the pro bowl.
