If you Move the Motherboard Out of the Main Burner Casing it should stay cool even if the power is cut and the heater does not go through its proper cool down cycle. But i then realize how the heater really works!
PUMPING HOT AIR INTO MY HOME
I bought one of these for my garage, and then thought....... I could heat my home with this! So that's exactly what i did! It is working great pumping hot air into my home. It is keeping us nice and warm and super economical.
I have a carbon monoxide detector just in case, but you don't get any fumes indoors at all
.
I hope this may help you in some way. Even if it just makes an idea pop up in your head, of how you can heat your home in cheaper way.
Thanks for looking at my videos cheers Andy..... If you can be anything, be Kind.....

Thanks for doing this experiment Andy, it was something that you had mentioned to me in a previous message to move the motherboard outside the casing, unfortunately I haven’t had time to try the experiment so thank you again.

@@andyfireblade I wonder what sensor the magnets are picking up? I’ve had a motherboard that stopped working for whatever reason and I can remember looking at the board very closely to see if I could see any burnt out components (which I couldn’t) and thinking back I cannot remember seeing anything that resembled a sensor.

@@user-xk5nl4sb2z there was one little part on the board that looked like a sensor. it must be picking up and controlling fan speed cheers andy

theres a hall sensor on the motherboard that picks up the fan speed. it needs to be the right distance from the magnets so it detects them. if you could extend wiring to the hall sensor and keep the sensor near the magnets that might work

Andy is there room to slip a heat shield in under the mother board?

thats a good idea, but its in an enclosed space, so i would still worry about it. thanks for looking and your comment bobbob cheers andy

some people say that you can just kill the power and it doesent melt the board? i might try it? cheers andy

It doesn't allways kill the board as with most Chinese cheap copy's it depends as much on build quality as it does luck, some warp and components come loose, sometimes the speed sensor moves and you get the fan error, lots of ways to kill a diesel heater 👍
