Back in my day we'd have this payload del- AAauaugh! Subscribe! ➜ goo.gl/sAJr7Z Support on Patreon ➜ / wronchianimation Facebook ➜ / wronchianimation Twitter ➜ / thisiswronchi Special Thanks to Blizzard! :]
True. And thats happened/ happening in the other game mods. They are just running away from the obj, bcuz they are the fkin terminator... then they are killed one by one. And you too. Teamwork powa...
the moral of the story is _don't leave the support hero on the payload by themselves._ *the aim of the game isn't to kill as many people as possible.* *_i swear to god the support will die if an offense hero even breathes in their general direction_*
As a Zenyatta player this speaks all too true I even hate it when people will moan "your a terrible support" and its like some guy who had no objective time and tons of elimations and deaths and even worse when the support does all the work and doesnt even get a vote at the end of the game.
Mei-Ling on the payload. Mei-Ling on the payload. Gonna freeze you all and score up some kiiiiillllllls! So I may charge my ult So I can freeze you all even more Yeah yeaaaahhhhhh!
Actually volskya industries, one team is trying to protect the Evil Omnic robot factory that makes the massive deathbots on the edge of the map, and the other is trying to destroy it. The maps that make the least sense are king of the hill, capture point and payload usually have decent explanations
The game Overwatch is separate from the story. Think of Batman Arkham games. If you jump to your death or run out of time as Batman, it doesn't mean Batman is dead or Batman lost. The official canon is dictated by the published stories. In this case Animated Shorts and Comics. These are just video games, they're built to be fun. With Overwatch I believe Blizzard built a compelling story to get people invested in the characters, to make them want all the legendary skins and cosmetics. It's a business decision, but it's still a great story and game, in my opinion. Also Overwatch the organization was pretty morally grey towards the end of it's operation. Look at it's two ex-leaders, both out for blood and taking out anyone in their way to kill each other. But it's also open to interpretation, which is the fun of it.
Zenyatta: Do you wanna know a cool fact!!! If you stand next to the payload it moves!! Everyone else: That's not a fun fact we already know that T_T Zenyatta: Oh really............THEN FUCKING DO IT!!
Or your entire team goes flanking (including 3 tanks) and you're on the payload as Tracer like "Guys, that's MY job, I'm not even supposed to be here!" Accolade for 3 min Objective Time as Tracer. Team: "lol noob tracer" WTF!?
I hate how you have to move slightly away from it to be able to get the 'move the payload' voice line to play, and my friend thinks I'm stupid for spamming it when it's possibly the only thing I can do to get a shitty team to play the objective.
I'm reading the comment section and I keep seeing comments saying that Zenyatta was the problem here. I'm legitimately amazed by how many people have essentially outed themselves as the problem with Overwatch players and all they had to do was have a fucking joke fly over their heads. Priceless.
As a pro silver genji main myself - I can totally relate to this. The payload never moves, even tho I'm running around everywhere, doing backflips, deflecting stuff.
VERY accurate. The other day I was on Watchpoint Gribraltar and practically moved it myself while the teams were just running laps around trying to get kills. I said "Can I get some help on the payload please?" and nobody came. So I died again and said "Payload"
This is how I feel in all these situations: 1. being Lucio (I'm a Lucio main), 2. being a Mercy in the "Justice Rains From Above" brawl, 3. playing support at all.
this is way too accurate because I get stuck using a support (and ironically it is zenyatta) and the tank will run off with my harmony orb and get behind the enemy team just to get chewed apart by a Bastion and all the offenses go with him and it makes me angry.
Hey you. Yeah you. The DPS that keeps getting hurt trying to flank. Instead of spamming for heals, how about you come back to the GIANT MOVING THING THAT HEALS YOU.
MarKus Knight yea basically this. my rule of thumb is if you're out of sight, you're on your own. if I'm healing the main group and you flank and die, don't come home or ask for heals
2 years later and this is still a thing. Why is this still a thing that happens? When I started playing I asked my friends for tips. They said, "Find the point/objective/payload, and stay on it." Ever since I consistently get more gold medals in Objective Time than any other gold medal.
