They made him to shiny in the actual game. They made him too glossy. This is perfect

modded version is more movie-accurate obviously. I still could not believe how damn good it looked when it first released on PS4. To me, the extra shine and everything about the vanilla version made me feel like it could have been Tobey's Spider-Man 4 suit or something.

I realize he’s incredibly shiny, but I gotta say, I was STILL super excited seeing his suit added to the game, it looked soooo good :D and still looks good But the new accurate one with proportions is beautifully done

They updated this suit in Spider-Man 2 and it looks 10 times better!!!

Everybody else is talking about his suit but I want to talk about how pete and miles met for the first time this was legendary

The eyes should still have a slight reflection (remember the scene in the 1st movie where the Goblin gave Peter a choice between MJ and the kids)

When they first release the sam raimi suit, you didn’t really see much flaws in it ; we were happy.. until this mod was created, which gave you the ability to compare and differentiate And I have to say they made his suit way toooo shiny, and the webbing is way too thick .. also his face shell is too oval looking as well The mod is so much better .. the raimi way🔥🤷🏾‍♂️

Just a mod with the suit makes the game look like real life

I like the shininess from the old webbing but it’s too shiny and too thicc where it gets distracting

The mod makes his mask look more like no way homes version while the bulky one in the vanilla is more like spiderman 1 to 3

Insomniac suit aint that bad really love it

I still think the original is cooler. I like the way the light bounces off the web lines and the red and blue are more vibrant

the eyepieces being less shiny make a huge difference

hate that people don’t like how shiny his webs are, personally i love the design choice and i love that they raised his webs even more. I think all this suit needed to be perfection was a more accurate shade of blue and a more gunmetal color for the webs and lenses. Debatable whether or not the lenses should’ve been adjusted but other then that i’m happy with the way it turned out in this game

Funny detail where his mouth doesn’t move in the mod. I noticed in the movie Pete’s jaw doesn’t move an inch when he talks

I personally prefer how the default's webs are shinier to make them stand out but I would definitely like the proportions to be adjusted as the mod did.

I was just playing this part with this suit last I played. I thought about how cool the modded suit would be in this scene but with the addition of an A.I voice of Tobey just saying everything here word for word

I see more details at the mod version, the neck more thicker than the og one and its fit more

The only actual problem with the ps4 version is that The webs are too thick and shiny. they should hav been Gunmetal black and thinner. other than that the rest of the suit is perfectly fine. the blu is a bit bright but the raimi suit changes in literally every movie slightly since it's constantly being broken and fixed and remade by peter so small changes are to be expected. so the logo isn't a problem. neither is the eyes color. the suit is an amalgamation of the 3 movie suits after all.

I think both suits looks great. Raimi's webbing on the suit do have some shine in the movies aswell especially in SM3 however it to me looked a little too shiny in the game. I do however really like the jaw movement in the vanilla and it looks more accurate to the SM2 and SM3 suits in the movies that also had some movement in the jaw.

The original lens look better then the modded but I do admit that the Modded is less blinding and normally im a sucker for more metallic and shiny but I prefer the web lines more faded or well if you asked me defined but not popping out of the suit the shine makes the vanilla look too textured too me. P.S. Agrofro and The modding community does amazing work on this game to bring it new life

I’ll never understand why they made the web so shiny like that. This mod was very much needed. For a game that looks so great, they basically ruined my favorite Spider-Man suit with that choice.

The problem with actual insomniac version is that the webbing on the suit is way to raised and too shiny that’s pretty much it

I really hope that they let you do styles in the movie suits in the future, I know that probably won't happen but literally my only problem with insomniacs version is the blue is too bright, I actually really like the thick metallic webs and the shiny lenses, it makes this suit stand out from the other live action suits a lot. If they just let you do styles and one of them was the darker shiny blue that would be awesome, I think that would make most people happy

i think the best raimi mod is the photoreal raimi, it has the 4 versions of the suit (2002,2004,2007 and black)

I like the reflections in his eyes in the vanilla version. A small detail but a good one. And the texture of the insomniac version is more defined. The only thing that is bit off, is the shininess.

Bro, the mod turned his back into a rectangle 💀, only thing the mod did right was make thr webbing less shiney, but OTHER THAN THAT, the mod torches the suit 💀, and changed the core shapes the suit had, insomniac literally gave you the suit just shiney, and the mod goes along and torches the shape 💀

Honestly if the vanilla versions blue was 2 shades darker it'd be perfection

The mod just doesnt reflect light properly on the whole suit maybe as a result of trying to adjust it for the webs. Its especially noticable on the eyes

Spider-Man 2 and 3 tho had more of the white webbing on the suit and it looked better than the first movie suit in my opinion

The thinner webbing looks better. I don't mind the shinyness, but the fact that they were in a dark alley here and he was still glowing like that is a little weird. The mod does look more realistic.
