There's a reference to Back To The Future in Season 2 where Sensei Wu says "Great Scott" when the ninja time travel

Also a couple other references the comic book guy is actually a reference to the comic book guy in the Simpsons (I can't remember his name), in Possession there's a song that Ghoultar dances to that sounds very similar to The Ghostbusters theme and in the first episode of season 4 there's a scene where Lloyd bullet doges a bunch of nindroid lasers referencing the Matrix, then he runs away from a giant boulder referencing Indiana Jones and then he ties a rope around his waist and hangs from the celling referencing Mission Impossible.

@@jimmyjohnsonniscool Yeah there are quite a few references to movies and shows in Ninjago also the time travel episode (Wrong Place Wrong Time) has a couple Back to The Future references and then also the episode where Zane unlocks his full potential (Tick Tock) the Japanese title actually translates to "Does Zane Dream Of Electric Sheep" which not only is a way cooler title but also references the book Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep which centres around androids and is also the book Blade Runner was based on

One refrence in Lego ninja go is the titanic when Cole asks them what happens if you call a ship unsinkable and they don’t know what he’s talking about

one i found out was a blade runner 1982 refrence when racer 7 wanted to get 4 pieces of shushi (i think but got 2) she also did the thing with the chopsticks same as rick deckard did

What about the Tremors reference in Season 6 where Nya, Cole and Lloyd are stranded on a deserted island and their things mysteriously disappear and they discover that they were taken by two huge creatures with a striking resemblance to the Graboids?

I love it how the writers of this show reference a few things older fans would get. It's just another way to show they know there are older fans watching.
