I felt so bad for Olivia. Kayla had anger and resentment towards her for leaving her, but it was her father that kept Olivia away. Adam was so damn bitter because Olivia wanted more out of her life. She didn't want to waste her talent. Adam was also an musician. He was clearly jealous of Olivia because she ended up making it. Brandy sung "Almost Doesn't Count", "Have You Ever" and Happy". Those songs was from the Never Say Never album which was released in 98. "Until We Meet Again", "Love Is All that Matters, "Carry On" (which was originally done by Martha Wash), "Someone That You Loved Before" and "He Lives in Me" from the Lion King was from Diana's 1999 album Everyday Is a New Day. I love this movie. This was Diana Ross's first film role since The Wiz, but her most slept on role was in another TV movie called Out of Darkness, where she played a paranoid schizophrenic woman. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1995 for Out of Darkness.

This movie is a guilty pleasure of mine,fyi brandy has a christmas movie coming to Netflix this year called best Christmas ever and she will be reprising her role as Cinderella in the 4th installment of descendants on disney channel,not sure when that comes out
Hey Ashley, New sub. U had me weak with this video and some others Ive watched. I agree this movie is good. Yes certain parts could've been better but I'm a fan of Ms Ross and Brandy so I remember watching this on TV, vhs, later streaming. (Still classic)Keep the great content coming. 🙂👍👍

Right!! I didn’t like this old man in this movie with Brandy.. I didn’t understand brandy like girl I understand you mad about what happened but if your mom is trying to protect you then listen don’t think you know everything in the game and you just starting out trusting people and what not..She was being mad disrespectful and most mom’s would slapped her.. but anyhoo yes, Ashley that would have been nice for Olivia to do..
I only watched this movie once a couple of years ago and Brandy’s character was pissing me off. Girl, either you gonna be mad at the mama or not? You ain’t gonna be talking tough to me in my house while I’m setting you up..go back to your Daddy then.
