Movie Discussion: Alien: Covenant w/ Anthony Self and Steve *Spoilers* 

And when I thought it couldn't get any worse than Prometheus...
I think they finally managed to kill Alien. 😞
It's been quite the journey. I had a great time watching/rewatching (most) of these films and discussing how the Alien franchise evolved over the decades. Something got lost along the way, sadly. But that does not diminish the genius of the first movies. I can only hope the world reasserts itself soon so we can enjoy some intelligent and well-written storytelling in movies again.
