Movie Fan Reacts To The Great Movie Medley - Voctave A Cappella (REACTION) First Time Hearing It 

Voctave is one of the famous a cappella groups. They are very much worth following. I think we all loved these movies.

This dedicated follower of HOME FREE and VOCTAVE advises you to react to everything from Voctave. Both are talented-beyond-belief. I've heard both live twice!

Glad you liked it bud. John Williams is the G.O.A.T. I didn't realize he composed so many of my child hood movies.

The working title of this was the John Williams Medley. They were afraid that folks wouldn’t know who he was so officially named it the Great Movie Medley. I hope you fall down the Voctave rabbit hole. Everything they do is wonderful. I know that folks have already mentioned their Princess Medley, Heroes and Villians, and Disney Love Medley, but if you really want to hear some vocal acrobatics, check out their Prince of Egypt Medley. No actual video, just audio. But well worth the listen. Everything they do is worth listening to. Interesting fact, most if not all have worked or are working for Disney singing with Voices of Liberty in Epcot.

Another good group to follow. Check out their Disney Princess Medley (features the ladies) and Disney Heroes and Villains Medley (features the guys).

Great reaction, and great choice. Voctave is in a league of their own when it comes to quality and their composition (from Jamie, in the group). They have some superb stuff...no one else does acapella the way they do.

Now you've discovered another fantastic a cappella group! Octave is simply incredible, and they've rounded up great movie themes that dominated the later half of the 20th century, as well as the first decade of 2000! Spielberg, John Williams, Lucas, Rollings, and so many other giants of their arts. I believe I saw the premiere of each one, except Star Wars I (when I was deeply involved in caretaking). I have most of them on DVD or Blue Ray (upgrading them from VHS), and still binge watch! Your comments are golden!

I’m so glad you reacted to this. I’ve recommended it to a lot of reactors and most don’t take me up on it 😂 Voctave is incredible and underrated. BTW, EJ Cardona is in Voctave - Omar Cardona’s brother and you just saw him with VoicePlay. VoicePlay and Voctave are my favorite acapella groups! ❤

Oh good -- your intro to Voctave … about due. Kate has some ‘slapping’ notes too! All these tunes are John Williams BUT he retains his name/likeness/image so the title couldn’t have his name. In his early 90s he started at a young age, conducting the Boston Pops, but also arranger, pianist and brass player for the United States Air Force Band in Washington, D.C. First comment in your ‘comments’ accurately identifies him as the G.O.A.T.
