Proud to have been riding during this era (before and after/injured with a broken neck but I'll be back i got super lucky) but I never wore girls pants. I was happy at the time with the $cerbo inspired brown Dickies and then slim fit wrangler black jeans ftw never understood the girl pants thing but I was right next to south NJ which was like the girl pants capital of the east coast but all those kids turned into bad ass dudes that still are killing it! DeHart, Randy Brown and Daryll Tocco back in the day I swore their pants gave them special powers. But it's crazy how teams like seek out PR now where here they are riding the old faithful wooden street euro gap. Keep up the classicks can't wait for Fitlife wish I still had the DVD. Heavy Hails!
I havent heard about Bob Scerbo in YEARS. Crazy man. I wish I rode from 2000-2009. Best times for BMX imo. The emo scene/skinny jeans was super heavy then. I dont miss that LMAO. But i do miss my friends I rode with everyday. I miss riding. I wish I would have never stopped.
@@helium5912 Most of the guys I rode with wore them mostly to avoid getting their jeans caught in the chain/sprocket. I know I did enough to finally try it and honestly, shorts were better minus the god awful shinners and stitches. I remember one of my riding buddy's showing up for a ride day in a pair of girls jeans with a unicorn bedazzled on the ass lmao. Still rode better than me.
@@Some.Canadian girl jeans. Band t shirts. Long hair. Emo/metal music Keys hanging off your jeans rattling when riding. Riding downtown with all the homies. Great times. That era will never happen again..we didn't know how good we had it back then. The world was easy. Now it's a fucking shit show.
