Excalibur and Area 51 look amazing, what brilliant water rides. Some good looking coasters as well. A nicely laid out park and excellent vlog Shaun and Charlotte 👍
Hey there! I was the guy that checked your vaccination passes on the main gate :D The park was busy cos it was a promotional weekend for EDEKA, a german supermarket, hence the people in heart costumes on the main street area. The Tower has also been down for about 6 weeks, it needs a new part to be delivered and fitted. Hope you both had a good day !
Love the 'Cop Car Chase' and 'Bandit' posters in the Movie Park Studios queue, a nice nod to old rides at W̶a̶r̶n̶e̶r̶ ̶B̶r̶o̶s̶ ̶M̶o̶v̶i̶e̶ ̶W̶o̶r̶l̶d̶ Movie Park Germany
The High Fall has the walls and wanted posters around it for Horror Festival. It then becomes The Terror Tower, they pump in smoke at the base and a cool lighting package. Also Time Riders doesn’t house the Slaughterhouse maze. The Slaughterhouse is in a showbuilding next to Time Riders. They just use the Tims Riders queue for the haunted house and when Time Riders is open, that has a separate entrance. Do make that Halloween trip btw! Halloween Horror Festival is really good!!!
Hi shawn and Charlotte really enjoyed the vlog. The park looks Good very enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing the next vlogs. Thanks for sharing with us love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Love seeing the park. As its been 5 years to the date when I was last there with my cousin. I'm so jealous of the star trek coaster!! Saw construction start and the area taped off like at alton for the Walliams ride. Maybe when the passport need is no more I'll be back there. For now, all the parks in England will be enough for me way up in the wild North 😂
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Thanks for sharing your trip!! I'm so stupidly excited to see your Phantasialand visit and hope you get some unique Halloween food there for Charlotte :)
having random funny mascots greeting you on entering the park is really funny cool too that boasts families and thrillseekers alike the existence and perils for a jam packed theme park of endless fun adventurous experiences. As for the variety food models they look totally scrumptiously realistic that you literally want to gobble them up😋😋😋😋😋 that's how the park encourages their guests with the overwhelming food aromas lurking lures you in so therefore you can't resist for instantly craving gaining an appetite lol. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😃😃😃😃😃 Anyways the Movie Park they've really esentuated with awesome colour schemes, facades throughout the different sections. As for you Shawn I love how you throwout your funny innuendos cracks me up everytime. right then for on ride footage it's a shame there's restrictions for mounted GoPro on ride POV which makes these blogs worth while to promote the fun safety factors of the rides that gives us TPWW fans an insight for what to expect when going to these attractions, unfortunately It is what it is. 😄nonetheless this was another amazing interesting unexpected blog Shawn Thank you for sharing.
That's a great idea Shawn, sell BIG DOUGHNUTS,lol, You want my opinion you should be working with theme parks, as you have so many great ideas! Well, you've been doing it for long enough now, you know the ropes, 😂.
So they're implementing medical apartheid, and you STILL have to wear a mask? Future historians are going to have a challenge describing this insanity.
Great vlog as always! The Studios Tour would be great if they chose a coaster type like for example Arthur. That way they can reduce the speed at sections with a lot to see.
So with MPS Tours, it seemed like you were picking at the smallest details. I completely understand where you're coming from, but that said, it looks like a good family coaster, and I quite like the outdoor bit. Reminds me of Huracan at Bellewearde (sp) which you liked.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide It is intended as an homage to the old Warner Bros-Movie Park. It has a pre show like WBMW had in it's early years. There are tons of references to the parks history - one thing you mentioned is the scene where you are going on a big city race along with another car next to you - this is a refenrence to the "Lethal Weapon"-rollercoaster, where you had an Intamin racing coaster in the venue that is today the Boardwalk section. They exchanged the L.A. scenery of the original with a typical New York theming. The building itself has experienced it's fourth transformation. In the WBMW years the hall was home to "Looney Tunes Studio Tours" where you went on a water ride including an indoor splash finale traveling through Germany's Blackwood Forrest in search of Bugs Bunny. After WBMW sold the park the interior was transformed to "Ice Age". After that it was used as an Halloween maze, before becoming the new "Movie Park Studios Tour" in 2021. By the way Movie Park Germany is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
I love that you had a great time at Movie Park. I have a soft spot for this park. And overall I have to say: Your Vlogs are just the best. Great mix of facts and beauty shots of the rides. I always get a good overview and feeling for the Parks you visit. 👍
haha you hit EDEKA-Day at movie park its a sponsered event day by a grocery store chain, providing cheaper entree or something like that, and those random mascots were actuallly EDEKA mascots haha
Oh you managed to get the Movie Park on one of the worst days...the "Edeka Days". Edeka is one of the biggest supermarket chains in Germany and they have these days every year where people can buy cheap tickets in advance via the supermarket. Usually some of the most crowded days of the year.
Such a shame this park doesn't allow chest mounted footage except for the water rides. Which to be honest redeems it somewhat, it's one of my favourite parts, especially with Charlotte being present XD. I sometimes wonder if she even likes showers or a bath, she hates the water so much haha.
Oh my gosh I started following this channel as I was looking at inspiration to go to different theme parks, and this theme park was a themepark were my family took when I was little but unfortunately I don't have memories since I was only little, but I can show my mum and ask her which rides I was on
The Maze „Slaughterhouse“ which you mentioned is actually not in the space of the Simulator „Time Riders“ but instead in the building next to it - it just utilizes the Queue of this ride. Time Riders is sadly not in operation due to COVID-restrictions, same with Lost Temple.
Another epic day - thank you for sharing. Have you ever thought about a 'meet the fans event' perhaps at The Towers ? Can understand if not I'm sure some might be nutters (not me of course). Have fun !
We were in the park on the 10th and 11th of September and the High Fall was already closed but didn't have the walls up around it yet. We also got to experience the Edeka days though including the lovely song they play all day long xD
Intimin could always try and revive their prefab track. Since Intimin previously provided trains for Bandit, its possible they could experiment on Bandit with a new design since the current prefab track is made in Germany (except El Toro, which is done by the park).
Having just watched your older vlog of this park, I'm glad you're opinion has improved of operation enterprise :) maybe it was just running slow a couple years ago!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide What I realised at my last visit was that it makes front/back row rides make a huge different on the coaster. The front row ride left me pretty underwhelmed when I went compared to the back end of the train, which had some surprisingly fun airtime moments!
you guys just brighten up my day when you upload 😊 I've also always wanted to go to more theme parks and stuff but I can't go cos I'm always busy 😊😐 I'm also learning German so I want to go there question have you ever been to Europa park my friend recommends that it's also in germany
So disappointing when they don’t let you film on ride. It makes such a difference to the vlog as I can imagine I’m really on the ride. You should stamp your feet and bring out the “don’t you know who I am?” line Shawn. 😝🤣
Bummer👎. I wanted to see pov of Star Trek!!! I loved the pov of the last park!!! Wonderful spinning coaster👍👍👍. Just hate when you cant film😢. Congratulations on your gold award!!👍👍💯% deserved!!!
No travel vlog for this series? I assume you are driving and would love to see some of that, I've heard there are alot of tolls on the roads there, did you encounter that? and is that expensive? Plus room tours are always great on this channel!
We were here one week earlier, was also Edeka weekend but not as busy as this. The High Fall was also not operating but had no wanted signs back then. Did you spot Gizmo and the Gremlin in the new Movie Studio Tour? The posters in the Lobby are homages to some (distinct) Movie Park rides, nice little detail :-)
Wow has that changed? Went there with my future wife when it was 'Traumland' (Dreamland) probably '83 or '84 and I was stationed over there. There was only probably half a dozen larger attractions back then and a lot of the area wasn't even paved? I can only remember a large ferris wheel and a caged in swing boat that went over the top though. I'll have to give it a visit when I'm back as it's only half an hour from the in-laws. Just got to 24 minutes in, that could be the original ferris wheel I mentioned earlier?
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Actually the Ferris wheel is a new one - I think they bought it from SBF Visa - when they opened the boardwalk section as the replacement for "Lethal Weapon - The Ride" later known as "Cop Car Chase". Traumlandpark closed in the early 90s. The next step was an new theme park dedicated to the world of "German" movies called "Bavaria Film Park" named after famous Bavarian movie production studios. The new movie park lasted only for one or two seasons. After that the park was bought from Warner and they opened "Warner Bros. Movie World Germany" in 1996. Most buildings are from that era- even though they changed their interiors. The Ferris wheel from Traumlandpark was sold with all the other rides (most were traveling rides in the end), I don't know where they operate today if they still do. It is assumed that the Ferris wheel operated on the German fair circuit from 1971 to 1979 under showman Andreas Schütz before it's time in Traumlandpark. onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=8636&highlight=riesenrad+traumlandpark The caged ship was called "Traumboot" and actually was a Traumboot from German manufacturer Weber. There used to be some rides like this one in the UK, too. For example the "Mary Rose". onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=31041
Again, school done and got dinner this time! This park reminds me of Universal mixed with old Hollywood Studios at WDW. This park also feels kinda run down and gritty honestly. They could do with a freshen up on a lot of things.
The park doesnt really feel run down overall when youre there. just some parts. most of the park is in a really good shape, especially the mainstreet area and the new york area look really fresh, and are repainted on a regular base. there are some places at the park that do feel a little run down tho, like the Wild West area, or, sadly the entrance. wich is weird, because it isnt run down at all, its just the colors and the lack of pretty foliage that make it seem run down. they repainted it 3 years ago and even opened a visitors center inside the entrance building, adding classy looking windows and stuff, but somehow it looks really bad, except for the gate. its these yellow-blue colors that make it look cheap. and its really just the color, since it used to look really really good back in the day, with just a different color scheme and some more foliage and palm trees. i really love the park and they do lots of great things, but seeing this entrance area makes me sad, because it does not represent the park at all. they could do so much to the area with so little effort, and yet they dont do it, even tho they do really much aside from that (new attractions/shows/re-themes almost every year + world class halloween events)
Shawn, were you forgetting about El Condor at Walibi Holland when you said about Infusion being "the really rough SLC", as I seem to remember you being quite appalled by that one when you first rode it? Or have you had better rides on Condor recently?
Great vlog guys. This park is on my to do list.. Just wondering if the Huss giant frisbee was on its full cycle as in the footage it looked really slow? Keep up the amazing work 👍🎢
well done both of you at Movie Park Germany to experience poor Charlotte for getting wet no the rides every time, I think Shawn should get wetter next time, not Charlotte, keep the god vlogs up on eueopen road trip, big thumbs up to you both.
This is one park I've not ever visited, It's odd that a once WB park would have a Star Trek themed ride given that it's a Paramount property. I have heard good things about the coaster though. Will you make it to Disney Paris this trip?
Hey there Shawn have a brilliant time at movie park at Germany 🇩🇪 great to see you again Charlotte and I’m with Charlotte my girlfriend at Fairfield farm college she is very nice and epic girlfriend I love you Shawn and Charlotte xxxxxxxx
