Love this review and BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA is one of the most neglected, unsung films I know. Bravo Alex and RIP Sam.

This is obviously one of the greatest films ever made. Moviedrome was such a good selection, it introduced me to such a wide variety of films. Anyway, it was way too cool for school. Losers beware!

Alfredo Garcia was not Benny's best friend, Jesus Christ. He was his girlfriend's former lover, and so Benny's competitor for her affections. Even dead, she had more feelings for him than Benny.

Alfredo Garcia wasn't Benny's best friend, as Alex incorrectly remembers, he was his romantic rival for the affections of his girl. That was their ignoble link.

Did I miss something? Was he best friends with Alfredo? I didn't think they even knew each other other than in passing? He was the lover of his girlfriend but apart from that...
