This is one of the most enjoyable videos that you've done. I see totally different stress level than a race week when you're worried about parts availability and breaking things. You and your dad look totally relaxed and that's great to see. This video shows how far you've come and you've proven to be a real contender. You heard it a million times but your dad is awesome and the interaction between the two of you is what has made this channel so good. Congratulations on the success of your channel and thank you for the entertainment. Not just for myself but everyone commenting here, you guys are just great. 👍 By the way everyone's Halloween costumes for absolutely fantastic. That was a great addition to the video.
Amazing work all you guys Alex I’m so so glad for you. You’ve worked hard and you just are who you are take care of your health and wellness so you can keep on for a long time. It’s a tough sport on the system in the body keep breathing go with him you’ll always find peace my best to you and your all your family
I love Alex Taylor racing big huge fan and a fan of her dad and her mom and her mom and her sister too Megan but big fan of Alex can't wait to watch her do more racing
You, your dad and the whole team have done such an amazing job on this car. It will be bitter sweet when you move on to the next project but I still look forward to what's next. FYI - I've seen some SEMA car builds in progress at different stages and they were skin deep pieces of crap that were probably piles of rust not long after the shows they entered. May not be the norm, but they exist. I doubt many cars are as proven as the 55.
@ridingwithalextaylor your Mom has to love and enjoy watching you and your Pops doing y’all’s thing. You two are so close and talk like your best friends! I think it’s freaking awesome and I would do anything to be that close with my daughter! Very Special with your snorting laugh! 😂😂😂❤❤
❤❤ looks great Alex! And you look freaking amazing as always too ❤. I have a 1969 camaro with a 1001 c.i big block n/a thet we should I'll be out at the Salt flats In two weeks!
Been a big fan of yer pops for some time now, and regrettably never really took the time to watch you. I see lots on the socials though! What I'm gettin at is that I think I speak for LOTS when I say how hard it can be to have a host change on a MT show! Let me tell ya! Hahaha! But GD amiga... You are made for HRG, and long form "TV program" style content like that! It's a pleasure to see you at MT! Again. I speak for LOTS. Thanks dude! 🤘
On my bucket list PRI and SEMA. Extremely busy week. Love hearing your dad explaining pistons. I can only imagine the discussions he had there. The SICK series most interesting. Ohio grudge racing has a no prep point series that's gained quite a following.
KooL KooL KooL BiG AL Haven't got to watch ya in a while. Been moving in on my Build youngLady........to see you work the room emphasis on Room.more like the Block .....your Hustle is None Stop and Love watching you and Family....Happy Thanksgiving BiG AL to you and Family 💯🏁💯
The isn't ugly at all! It is the ultimate Derelict Resto Mod! That car is a beautiful hot rod! I'm sure the sixes will be regular this season with lots of wins as well.
Thank you, me and my students got to meet you at SEMA this year. Students and school were named top shop of the nation at the APEXX show. The students were walking around with a large trophy. Thank you for talking with them.
I love that car a whole lot too Miss Alex ;) Wish I had the funds to travel to the USA so I could watch you and your dad compete :( "sigh" ) I'll have to settle for your uploads! Just saying but I think your Mum is the silent achiever of the group. You have a lovely Family.
Hi, Lol it's getting interesting!Awesome and exciting, so is the car show and your people. Ysy Hi to Turbo. I have purchased a new motor as well, well I was lucky to find a spayed cap, I think it's Dart, wait till I receive it, 4.1/2 bore and 4 1/4 stroke. It's my up grade from the 463 gen 4. I also bought a Mike Khul 6/71 to run and learn with before switching later to the hi helix 2222 8/71 when I get experience. I am starting with a cowler crank and like a dish type pisto which I'll upgrade some time after getting it to run. I haven't received the rear clip for the Holden ss vx just yet for the intermediate car. I'll practice in this car first with a Hardened bottom stroked blown ls1, then I'll switch this motor to the 463 6/71 then by then the 540 Chev Full tube chassis will be running and I'll have some experience, yay. Have fun friends, Thank you. Karl from Australia
Not all of us like full painted cars, we like patina cars. The full painted cars are nice, but they are usually trailer queens. I want to drive my car and not worry about the paint.
Thanks for watching! We should be coming back from a mid-season break soon (I didn't even know this was thing lol) and then there are 8 more episodes to come out for this season 🙌🏼
I thought I had checked with them and thought they didn't have what I needed... but, I just looked them up again and not sure why it wouldn't work. I'll have to reach out again - thanks!
It’s amazing I worked for Summit for 13 years raced T/D for 6 years in Div 3 IHRA and couldn’t get any help from summit! I mean I had a employee discount but I couldn’t get them to even let me buy at summits cost! It was very disappointing!
Alex are not an employee but an business partner. It's modern marketing and all about getting positive exposure on the social medias. Alex are educated in business and marketing, so she knows how it's done.
funny thing, I lived in Vegs 2003 to 2011. Photographer on the side, I atternded 2005-2009. I spent my time in SEMA 3.2 million sq ft of exhibit space. Never made it into APEX, never. Did you?
Saw the merch clip on Insta. Seeing your dad's shirt in this vidro brings up a quick question. Are your shirt logos on the front or back? Reason I ask is because I miss the 90's era surf shirt style where the big design was on the back and maybe a smaller logo was on the front in the usual pocket/heart location. Somewhere in the past 10 years shirts started getting designed with logos on the front and it like triggers some level of autism for me.
All of the shirts on my site (except women's tank and hoodie) has the main logo on the back and a small pocket logo on the front. I don't like the big logos on the front either!
There's YT videos of the '55 running 6s, it have just not done it at one of the big races. Not bad using an temporary loaner engine that wasn't build for making that kind power.
