The LV convention center was built in 1959,,who knew 55 or even 15 years ago there would be machines like this.I am surprised they were not displayed outdoors. But they are doing a huge expansion maybe that discussion would be discussed
And here I thought all the parts for the DH 470 models were huge!! A single 470 track is around 5600lbs and this monster makes the 470 look like a toy!!
Did you notice the machine is going straight, the building rotates under the tracks when he turns :) Wait until they put a 30 axle heavy haul trailer under each track and drive side-by-side down the road, lol What a behemoth!
they use big 18wheel truck to to deliver then these big cranes to put it together and don wen they are don do they same thing and if you like you can watch them on RU-vid and they can tell you a lot more than I can but you need to have somebody that has a lot of guts to move those things because sometimes they can't see very well with the tracks
Yes, they definitely don't build these models just to let them sit and hope someone will want one......lol. I work at Deere/Hitachi and we unfortunately don't have this monster at our facility. This thing is incredible!
John Somerset Probably because it’s on very low RPM. It’s in a very confined space so there’s no point in making the machine fast and jumpy by having it at full power.
I took a few photos of them dismantling the stuff but I didn't have time to hand around for a week or two. breaking them up is really slow. you'd need to do a timelapse
Hello Man, you close to all this heavy machines. Maybe you know, when we will see Caterpillar 6120b h fs. I hear project is suspended, but maybe you know more about this. P.S Sorry for my bad English
