Try and find a beautiful sweet girl in the US with or without kids that will travel 7-8 hours to help a friend move, deep clean an apartment, and make you pierogis. Go ahead, I'll wait.
That was very sweet of her. Came all the way out to help you, cook, clean, etc. She’s is a breath of fresh air w/ a captivating eyes and smile. I’m jealous. Indeed a very good friend to have.
Johnny Johnny Johnny.... She spent 7 hours getting to you... Helped you the entire day... Then has another 7 hours to get back home? (complicated?) Shes really making an effort for you. I guess its complicated cause you would lose independency and freedom to travel whenever you want etc... but... There is a time you gonna want to settle with a soulmate and by that time you gonna kick yourself in the arse for letting this one go... Look on your own vid at the end howmany times she looked back hoping you would say something. You are your own boss. But may i suggest to just go and visit her for a few days and help her with whatever? Its also lets you taste the small village living, another experience under your belt. See how it goes. I really hope you do this. Thnx for all the vids you make and the experiences you share with us on real life and not some polished fantasy selling crap. TY and follow your heart, not your fear. You are a big boy. That smile on your face and the chemistry of you both... JUST DO IT. Either way we love you no matter what you decide.
She looks nice, she is caring, coming all the way to help you. The message is clear Johnny! Don't hide behind complicated, life is complicated. You don't know what will happen tomorrow, the clock is ticking. Enjoy whatever life brings in front of you.
Jonny she’s a keeper mate…not only does she feel comfortable been around you but you could also tell how sad she was leaving you…you two make an amazing couple…definitely need to be seeing more of her in future videos…give it a go mate she’s honestly amazing
and she is also intelligent enough to know that there is an upside to all that mentioned, unlike the typical arrogant masculine "strong and independent" modern western woman
@@CrazyJoker890 I hate the arrogance of western women's hate towards masculinity that they would openly say on national American television that "men are useless"...you imagine men saying on national TV that women are useless the feminist and women in general would lose their marbles and it wouldn't be a joking matter
@@CrazyJoker890 how it is interesting read & hear this : She’s not afraid to work hard! it's what do every Ukrainian woman&wife in her house: cleaning, cooking, etc.. How is different our world !!
@@Grimmes12but if she's so intelligent and hardworking, how come she ended up a single mom (not widow) with 3 kids? I don't mean this in any disrespectful way, it's just, a single mom is always single mom for very bad reasons
Complicated can be uncomplicated if you work on it. Did she travel 7 hours to help you? Thats unbelieavably nice of her. And she would not have done it if she didn't like you really good.
@@trinewestbyejrgensen4838sorry but if a single woman has kids, that's a huge deal and it's always for a bad reason, you don't want to get involved in that, she can be a good friend though like Johnny stated in the vid
@@SutterKrump What do you think about men having kids? Of course it is a huge deal, but it shouldn't stand in the way for true love. And Johnny has a big heart and im sure that he could handle it very well. 😊 And true love often start with a good friendships is my experience. Bit off topic but my husband and i lived far away from each other when we met, but we NEEDED to be toghether so we moved to a town in between of our towns and commuted to our jobs. Real love can't be stopped. Otherwise you would regret it. And the older you get the more chance of meeting someone with kids, unless you go for a younger person.
Your friend is very sweet and she has such a great sense of humor. Sorry that it’s a difficult situation because it looks like you enjoy each other very much. ❤
Yes Johnny, you need to get married with this girl. She is excellent wife material, and the most important thing she is not an English speaker. Nothing bad to speak English, but girls that do not speak English in Ukraine tend to search less for a sponsor. I think you should stick to this woman and build a nice relationship . She seems very good
@@brunotomm6528why are you spreading false information? No reputable source in the world would consider a single mom (not widow) with three kids from another man good wife material. Are you giving him malicious advice on purpose?
@@brunotomm6528 no he does not! Johnny does not need to come 2nd or even 3rd to Giga Chad's kids! How about you go tell a successful woman with no kids to get married to a broke man with kids you dopey hypocrite!
@@SutterKrump reputable source in the world? In Ukraine almost every girl/woman over 23 has at least one child. A lot of them are divorced. So if he needs to find a younger one without children , he will find . But this one will not be wife material, for sure. She will work hard to empty Johnny’s bank account, and this is the worst that can happen to him. To fall in love with an Ukrainian gold digger, trust me, they know very good the game. So yes, this woman from the video is a wife material, independently that she has children with another man. She is kind, helpful and for sure she is not a good digger.
That was a nice idea you shared with us on the 3rd minute of this video 😅I'd watch that. Johnny's livestream all day long from Soviet Khrushovka showing the real everyday life and routine, places you buy food at, cooking borshct, walking dogs, hanging out with friends
Are you kidding me?... she's perfect... beautiful, family, smart, generous, most agreeable, hard working... get off the pot... this is the lady most of us wish for... a wooing you should go :)
Your friend is a pretty girl and sensitive enough to have regard for the feelings of the ladies experiencing this awful conflict. Yes Johnny the entrance is more pleasant in your new apartment. I hope that the coffee is good ☕ I just bought a cafeteri in Ikea in Dublin. My favourite coffee is Lavazza Arabica 😊 Good luck with the internet. Obviously cleaning up was fun😊 I pray for safety in Ukraine and an end to the war. Maybe you will be walking dogs again soon? 🐕
Not trying to be disrespectful or too intrusive, delete my comment if it seems like I am, but stop giving her hope man. She’s not taking that train for nothing. Love your videos ❤
Lina is a nice lady ) I'm glad she came to help you clean the apartment. I liked Darnytsa more because of that nice park, but this district isn't too bad either. You have botanical garden Gryshko there, it was 50 uah entrance fee last year.
That girls a keeper pretty good personality travels 7 hours to help you clean cooks for you helps with grocerys and she's obviously attracted to you the way she kept looking back at the station
You're getting very domesticated Johnny. LOL. She seems like a very sweet girl. I hope things can work out. You're new apartment is so much nicer than the last one and it has a great view.
Content, blogging...I get it. I would be calling a cleaner 100%. Lina, you are so nice, sweet and polite, I hope you've had a proper tour around Kyiv off camera. I have very mixed emotions about this video.
Lina is so kind and sweet. Please forward this little help to her. Best wishes for her safety in Dnipro... neighbor's house was damaged by war. She lives near Zapr nuclear power plant that may soon be destroyed by Russians, right after Crimea bridge is blown up. It will be much safer for her and kids to move to a safer place like Kyiv… Take care 🙏 - Your friend in southern California
Wow thanks for that! It's generous. I sent it to her. And yes, I've offered to help her and her kids to move to Kyiv, but she says she wants to stay by her family and the place she knows.
Lina's such a nice young lady. How and where did you get to know her? I haven't seen a video of you visiting Dnipro in the past and meeting her. I hope you'll visit her at some point and make a video of your trip!
Yikes 10th floor with rolling blackouts. Hopefully they will tell you when the power will be shut off. Your new place is much bettet than the last 2. $50. More makes a big difference. A few rugs and a throw for the couch will make it more homey. A trip to IKEA if you have one and you'll find everything you need. No more moving Johnny! 😄 Your friend is very sweet. The meat tenderizer thing was funny. 😱🪓 Can someone come shampoo the couch and carpet? It would be worth paying someone to come do it rather than renting a machine. Looking good guys! 💫
The building you moved into looks more recent than "Khrushchevka". I remember asking the same question in Kyiv. Don't think I ever got a very clear answer, but I believe these buildings are some kind of variant on the "panelka" blocks, but instead of just concrete panels, the outside wall is constructed from 'some kind of' bricks.
Lina seems like a great down to earth gal. Nice of her to pitch in and help even though she was on 'holiday'. How many girls in the west would do that? Not many. Looks like your Ukrainian language skills are better than her English equivalent. I'm impressed! Whatever happens, all the best. Can't be easy given the distance and the fact that she already has kids.
6:09 - it’s a baptist Mike Johnson’s church, Johnny 😄 10:00 your new apartment, it’s actually first one of a local unique Kyiv created “К-14“ serial building from 1965, next modern generation after hrushovka’s and and it was a building for more than ordinary workers of the ussr
Brilliant idea about creating a Soviet-era apartment experience! Get every detail down. Start looking for super cool Soviet art, Knick-knacks etc. Old brochures, maps, super cool chandelier- make it perfekt! I love the home made neighborly meal! If you do it right, and advertise appropriately you would be booked constantly.
Amazing friend you have there. Not sure if it's just amazing Ukrainian woman or she's special but it was really nice to see her come so far to help. I get that it's complicated and I'm well aware you probably don't want to ruin the friendship. But man it would be amazing if you two got together! You two appear to get on so well. Please pay her back with more than a bottle of Solar at least! Lol
Also, I'm pissed that strawberries are so cheap there. Middle of a country at war and you can get a huge punnet of strawberries than I can't in peaceful New Zealand!😂 It's like triple the price here.
@@Lethal0mega Strawberries are usually 70-80 for 1 kg, it's like $2. Johnny bought them for 150 only because it's in the center of the city 😉Also Lina said that it's half cheaper where she lives.
Ukraine grows food, it's a huge farming country, which is why it's so cheap locally here. They normally export the excess before Russia tried to cut it off.
Johnny - you're a legal resident of Ukraine, time to learn Ukrainian, bruh! Keep them videos coming, enoying them. Unlike travel bloggers, you show the real Ukraine and its people. The Ukraine flag on your new apartment wall, excellent!
ok stop it with the white knight simping...you wouldnt tell a successful woman with no kids to keep a broke man with kids would you? so yea stop it with the double standards because it makes you look like a gynocentric cornball
Good luck Johnny! BTW, your state of mind about the Porsche is hilarious. I am just like that. First, convincing myself of all the reasons why I should sell it and then convincing myself of all the reasons why I should keep it. LOL
You know Johnny, you gave your lady friend a bottle of cleaner for her birthday her and she is so happy and smiling. Do the same her in the U.S., I would bet that it would be the end of that relationship or a Divorce! 😂😂😂😂 I think you need to ask for a discount on the rent for a month. I would bet that that place has not been cleaned like that since it was build! If it wasn't for the Ukraine flag on the wall, that place would lack some real color! 😁😁 Very nice lady. I get the complexity, but it is a life changing decision! Glad she helped you out. BTW: Aren't you happy you kept the car and was able to load all your stuff for one trip? Not with that compact! 👍👍
I don't think so. It was an inside joke and something she wanted. It was simple thoughtfulness in context, not a random gift for no reason. Under normal circumstances, assuming a bottle of household cleaner would be an appropriate gift would make a guy look incredibly clueless.
@@zlauriault I already knew she wanted it and was already laughing about the bday reference he made. I thought I would just add to it by make another inside joke on top of that one! If it wasn't, she would have picked up the Russian Ax/Meat tenderizer!
Wishing you much joy in your new apartment, Johnny. The landlady is really sweet and considerate of you and what you feel comfortable with there. It's lovely that they have offered to take away anything you don't wish to keep, also. Your friend is such a kind and considerate person to know. Never lose friends who care so much about your wellbeing, and personally, I'd say, the complicated aspect is not a bad thing because you are good friends who have fun together and feel comfortable around each other - that is something probably to not ruin right now. That grime considering the previous person who lived there, if they were senior in years, it would likely make it very much harder to keep on top of thorough cleaning, plus with war it must have been very depressing for those years and perhaps make some clam up a bit and be unsure of whether or not to bother if uncertain what might have happened had Ukraine not been able to defend herself so well as she has. We are all heading in the same direction, God willing, we all age at various paces. Good health is never guaranteed either. So I would never criticise anyone who struggles to cope. I wonder does the road below send up car fumes too a bit? I would wash the fresh produce too, simply because of that (beautifully handy) stall place. Cheaper prices in rural areas sounds like my ideal sorta place ) I like the quieter lifestyle with nature around me, and towns and cities for visiting. It makes it more of an outing and suits who I am. But I guess if you love city life, then cities are the best place to live. Are you allowed to decorate the place and make any reasonable adaptions that may help you to put your own temporary stamp on it, so to speak? Personally, I am excited for when I eventually move and settle somewhere else than here. I simply love to personalise my home. And the good thing about anyone doing so, is when friends come to visit and to them they say it feels homely... I reckon you have the way of making anywhere feel like home. I really like your other apartment that you're letting to the diplomat. It has charm. I mentioned I liked your distressed doors, and I also really like exposed brickwork. But that's just my tastes. If you move the camera slowly when you film outdoors/nature, it gives us time to breathe in the atmosphere of the surroundings, which I always like. Here with fibre, we are limited, currently, to a certain amount of properties that can utilise it before their system has reached maximum quantities, so I wonder if that is why you don't have it up there but the cafe does? That is the best view ever while sitting there, yay! 🔱🛡🗽(but UA version)) Regarding soviet places, I wish they never had been built in our beautiful Ukraine. They are so austere and seem to always have such narrow rooms, I prefer to not feel caged in. Maccy Dees is not something I like much, because it always leaves me feeling drained the next day. Plus I went pescatarian, but I hear that Ukraine makes Maccies taste so much nicer than many other countries, so maybe it's healthier there. My lunchbreak is over, but it was great to catch up with something about normal everyday life when relocating inside Ukraine. Thx Johhny!
Congrats on the new digs Johnny. Looks like this is a keeper for a while at least, after the cleanup is done, it is looking better already. Speaking of keepers, Lina is a such sweet person, too bad that place of yours in not bigger to accommodate the children. I wish you well in everything bro.
You’ve handled the move very impressively Johnny. Your friend has helped you really a lot. The door locks are interesting, like Finnish Abloy brand door locks.❤😊
For Ukraine, she appears to be a rare find. But there are many other issues to consider, not least the language and cultural differences. But we here could only point such out, not give an advice what to do.
You need to uncomplicate it. Life is short and when you meet someone like her you'll regret not taking a chance. I know having the friendship is easy but she likes you and that's obvious.
Pretty sure that Solar stuff is degreaser! Its great stuff, especially for kitchens. They sell it in the US but I think they usually recommend you wear a mask and gloves LOL
@@JohnnyFD Your new place is in a rather prestigious area, at least it was such at the time of being built up. The building designs and floorplans would have been better than average given the people granted (by the state) housing there were from the priviledged soviet 'class'. Still, the neighborhood should be much better and safer than Obolon or Darnytsia. Khruschevka's are on the other side of the housing stock spectrum. They were built in the 1950's, cheap and nasty, given the situation and priorities in the post WWII reconstruction. Those are grey concrete panel 5-storied blocks with no lifts, low ceilings, small and adjoining rooms - like one not having its own door to a hallway - to cut the cost.
That thing on the walls and everywhere is old nicotine! Funny, I am Swedish, and I got that exact meat axe, (the first One). From my mother! It is probably over 60 years old?!👍 And I actually use it when cooking.
So the airbnb is a great idea I've made up my mind and I'm crazy enough to visit during independence day to visit. To experience real outages and issues probably not the best idea but I've made up my mind. I didn't realize Dnipro was that far from Kyiv if you like her make it work Johnny. Good to know the distance though I joined a dating site over there and have talked to a couple girls from Dnipro. Would love to talk to you sometime about my visit if you have time?
Shes definitely beautiful just because she has kids doesn't mean anything it is a big responsibility because a woman that has kids she comes with the package which theirs nothing wrong with that enjoy your new apartment🇱🇷🇱🇷💪💪🇺🇦🇺🇦.
Hate to tell you Johnny but most (many, anyway) 'age appropriate' (horrible term I know, but you know what I mean...) women already have children, and there's nothing wrong with that. Have we met Lina on your channel before? She seems awesome.
Hi Johnny! Very nice video! You speak Ukrainian very little, but you know so many Ukrainians! 👍How do you meet them, especially those who don't speak English? I'm really curious.
Here is how you know if building is Khrushchevka. Khrushchevka building is 1. always 5 story, 2. Never has elevator. There are other 5 story no elevator buildings, but apartments there usually bigger than Khrushchevka apartments.
Aww Johnny I like her bro. That day you all spent together was like the perfect date. Even though I know it was just a friend coning over to help you move in.. You ate together, worked as a team. Went out, shopped met others...It's like you guys are a natural couple. So what she has a kid(s). Just don't meet them until y'all consummate a relationship with a commitment You have resources bro, and she is young enough to have more kids. As always, I wish you luck but great vid anyway.
In Oklahoma...50 Mb down 30 Mb up (actual speeds are more like 40 & 25...slower in the evenings)...AT&T U-verse...cheapest option they have...its about $50 a month...so yeah.....
The best cleaning liquid ad I`ve ever seen 😄 Thank you Johnny for showing my dear Ukraine to the world! Btw that moment with reading of liquid name was hilarious. "Thes pizdes"🤣I`m pretty sure that you know what does the last word mean
Johnny gettin loose with the juice !! lol cool place great view !! Can’t believe how dirty it was. It almost looks like cigarette tar on the walls. I work for an internet company. Pretty neat to see them use Arris modems there. They are pretty good.
