@@kileyj4368same babe. I’m lucky enough to have a fiancé whose family is amazing and would def take us in if we needed it, but my parents are no longer here and when one of them was, I was her parent. So hard for some to understand and I’m with you on living through Niki when it comes to that ❤

I was homeless once , my parent didn’t let me come back .. he told me “it was no space” , that is an absolute blessing that you have parents that let you come back ✨✨🖤🖤 love you Niki

Nicki I turn 28 this year as well, and I’m currently still with my parents. And I’ve struggled at times with my own thoughts and inner critic, telling me things like where I ‘should be’ in life, or how I ‘should not be’ at the age that I am. I’ve hit a point of acceptance that I am on my own journey, and it’s going to take me time to get myself together, and that’s ok. Thank you for being so real-one of the reasons I watch your content. Thank you for sharing this imperfect picture of being an adult. I hope this Saturday treats you kindly❤️.

Nikki & Gabi channel idea(s): bring some work/business-ish vlogs, switching those routines, having your twin go to work for you, being each others personal assistant for 24hrs or a week, creative direct each others music video/photo shoot/brand deal concepts Etc.. the list can go on and on. I think it could bring a different life to you guys that can tie in to other endeavors you guys have✨

Seeing our parents get older & rarely being there to chat face to face really takes a toll on you. Gotta do it before it’s too late. Life truly does flash before your eyes. The busier you are the less time you have.

I used to be all about work and then ended up having a brain aneurysm burst, and had to stop working, move back in with my mum and start again. Like you said - ego really hindered my development initially because I was so horrified that I had to move 'backwards', however, 2 years later and I am the happiest I've ever been, looking good, feeling good, better friends, I also went back to ballet and music, and I know exactly what I am doing. Sometime starting over is the making of us.

Holy shit I needed this, I’m not moving back into my childhood room but my childhood home. The master in the home isn’t being used by my parents and as a 30 year old they’re giving me the master - I’m so thankful as I need the space for remote work and such)

Do what makes you feel happy. I am 45 years old and am still trying to figure out my life. You truly are an inspiration to me and I love how real you are and how you don’t hide things from your viewers. You remind me a lot of me when I was your age. Remember that you are amazing and everything will work out the way it is supposed to. I suffer with bipolar and my two saying I say to myself everyday is smile it makes the world look better and remember tomorrow is a brand new day with endless opportunities.

I’m 27, about to be 28 & there have been people in my life that would tell me I need to stop relying on mommy & daddy & I feel like I’ve started over so many times in my life & I used to give myself a hard time telling myself, “I’m 27 & I still live with my parents, I’m going no where in life, etc. feeding into all the negativity. I find comfort in watching your journey because it’s similar to mine right now & I feel okay in knowing I’m not alone.💕so thank you, Niki.

I love this for you! If you have a supportive family dynamic, it’s an incredible asset to cherish. Follow the path where you feel most loved and valued. In my culture, living independently before marriage isn’t common, so I personally don’t see any issue with your choice. Though it may be lost on the majority, take comfort in knowing that there are those of us who don’t have any negative thoughts about you living with your parents. ❤

As someone who is only 2 years younger then you, this was a much needed video. Thank you for sharing and not letting the "ego" get in the way. It's so true when you said "it's crazy to see who you are when you get off the hamster wheel" and I FELT THAT. It's so easy to be caught up in "society norms" and to do/buy what everyone else is doing but when you actually take the time and do the work to see what aligns with YOU... it changes things.
