Love your guys' videos. If you guys would get yourself a nice hard driving heeler or mcnab(something that will get after the cattle by biting their backsides if they don't move) it would probably make your sorting and pushing a lot easier than those head dogs are making it. I have a blue heeler and the guy I push cows for up onto the mountain graze leases and back down, he has a mcnab. They are worth their weight in gold especially when it comes to cattle that are rank and don't want to move out of the heavy brush like bulls etc.

I enjoy your beautiful countryside. Rounding up cattle is timeless. I'm a little puzzled by your working dogs though. I like the cur type. I don't get the hound going on the drive, but I guess you need a hound to hunt things like cats, too.

Hey there! I'm hoping you have time to read this, but I have a couple questions about mules I want to ask you. I personally have no experience with mules and neither does my dad, but I am a horse trainer and work with troubled horses. I have lots of experience with horses, just not mules. My dad is allergic to horses, but he wants a mule because he is not as allergic to them as he is horses. My dad is 270lb not including equipment. He needs a sturdy breed of mule that can do what you do on your videos. He wants something he can hunt off of, take anywhere and is already dead broke. We live in the east coast by Virginia so finding anything western here is hard. Heres my question, what types of mules do you recommend for my dad? Is there any tips or owning tricks I should know about mules before getting one? Thanks!
