I enjoy your conversation, I learn a lot just listening to you. You have a lot of knowledge and I am glad you share it with us. I am 80 years old and live in the Texas Hill Country. Keep up the good work.
The commentary is great for those of us that don't know about the operation of the landfill and why your doing certain things. If things start to get repetitive, timelapse is a good way to speed those times up. you can always stop the time lapse to describe something in more detail. I'm from northern Connecticut, I'm an engineer in the aerospace industry, dirt work is just a hobby for me.
I work there and things are never completely clear. Things are ever changing forsure. With a million variables going into it. Ryan does a damn good job of videoing things tho. He’d need a team to do anymore than he does.
Honestly just enjoying it all. I'm from Arizona. Started watching last week, when Chris from let's dig 18 came to see you. Thank you for taking the time to allow us all to follow along with yalls journey
This is one of the most interesting RU-vid channels I have watched in a long time. Your multiple businesses have been addressing recycling and waste management long before it was cool. I know it's a pain in the ass to shoot, edit and post the videos, but I think they are great and hope you continue to do so. I like a combination of watching the work and you talking. I am not familiar with your business and the obstacles you have to work around, so I find it really interesting. Plus you have to deal with heavy equipment and keeping them running. Lastly, I love how you have to work around your Dad.
From Tennessee, love to hear you telling us about what's happening in the landfill and all the operations you have there also love watching the video while you talk. Keep up the good work and continue making making the videos
Lol, even tho I work there, you describing what’s going on, and why you’re doing what your doing, tells me stuff that I saw, but wasn’t quite sure what was happening. And I know if I enjoy watching it and I see it 5-6 days a week, I’m sure there’s plenty of guys like me that would enjoy it 😂
You have to understand 1 very important fact! When you are talking your way through what you are doing there are many viewers who really don't know what's happening they just see equipment operating. Other channels will go from an assumption to a forgone conclusion that everyone understands what's happening.
Houston Texas here! I do the same thing all day! Either on a Komatsu 360 or Cat 336 and Volvo 40 ton trucks. I like seeing other people's techniques and their operations
G'day mate, from Wolumla Australia. I've spent my life as an accountant now retired and doing disability care work I find the whole operation fascinating, the treatment of your staff first class and amazed how you keep all of the machines operating with a great amount f patience and grace. Very impressive how you have built all of the different businesses. Gav😀
Indiana, I like a little time lapse, love to watch a skilled operator make those machines come to life, while operating if you run out of things to talk about tell us all how grandpa an your dad had to do things back in the day and when you were younger. I'm glad you always explain why you are doing what you have to do as well as what is mandatory for you to do to stay in compliance with the government to keep the environment safe for years to come. Thank you again and appreciate all you do and keeping your work family operating with new and great equipment. I know it would make me proud to work for you and I'm sure it helps with moral ✌️🇺🇲✌️👍👍
I like the content you make. I watch letsdig and a lot of his content is like yours in the way he gives you a brief intro into what the video will be entailing and then just film digging or dozing and then takes a break and in that break gives a recap of what’s taken place and what’s next. I personally love the nice hum of the engine and hydraulics of an excavator. But I also like to hear what’s going on with current or upcoming projects. I also like the videos that are 30-60 minutes in length.
Depends on what I'm after. Sometimes the commentary about what is going on is very interesting. Sometimes the hum of the machinery makes for a kind of hypnotic affect that is easy to fall asleep to. LOL Mostly I listen to the videos in the background while I'm working in the shop. Simi-retired, part time woodworker. Southern Oregon.
Hi Ryan, started watching and subbed to your channel after the visit of letsdig18. Enjoy your vids very much. From my point of view please keep on doing what you do. Your explanations of what you do and why and story's of methods from the past are entertaining and informative. From an ex and retired opp. Looking forward to seeing future vids. Best wishes from Scotland. colin
keep them as they are, explaining what you do , why and how you do it is just what we who don`t do your job like to hear .I`m a retired tipper driver(dump truck) did it for 40yrs, 25 yrs carrying anything that could be tipped, coal, smokeless fuels scrap metal , even some land fill jobs, anything basically so that empty running was kept down to a minimumall over England and Wales, then the last15 yrs out of local sand and rock quarries. If I find that you are talking too much Ryan, I can always hit the mute button.😉😉
Hey Ryan, Rick from Colorado enjoying another on of your vid's. I dont work any more had to take retirement earlier than expected if it wasn't for this weird muscle disease that snuck up on me id still be working. Im only 72 and i cant get work out of my head but it is what it is. Maybe thats why i watch all these like yours and dig 18, dirt perfect and so many others. Keep up the good work you have a great crew working for ya. Love you guys!!!
I'm new to the channel and I like to see heavy equipment at work. I don't think you talk to much since most of it is informative and new to me. However I do like to see slow moving machines in fast motion when it is repetitive lol. I'm from Oshkosh where cement mixers and military vehicle's are made and the home of the worlds largest air show. Guess what state?
@@TheRealMrDiGG Yes I am in Wisconsin. Did I make it to easy to guess? lol I agree with Dirt Perfect when he said your channel deserves a lot more viewers and I hope that happens.
Hello from the UK I enjoy your explanations of what you're doing and why It's an industry most of us don't give any thought to After a day on the excavator how long does it take for the motion sensation to stop? Like if you spend a day on a boat you can still feel the motion back on dry land
i work in cabling data communications, so what i do has nothing to do with the type of work you do, i enjoy just watching equipment working and i really enjoy commentary and explanations on what you are doing and why you are doing it, great video.👍👍👍👍👍
What are the rolls of white fabric or such laying as securing the mounds. You may have already answered this in past episodes. I am new to the channel are really like your content. I am from Arkansas and retired from the Walmart home office. Keep up the videos.
Great video Ryan I enjoy being in the cab and hearing you thoughts on what’s going on and why you do things a certain way with any of your equipment you don’t even have to talk really I’m a underground miner from Australia 🇦🇺
I used to work at the landfill as a truck spotter. And operator And we have nothing compared to what yall have i also love. Your stories keep up the wonderful work
Hey Ryan as far as you talking on video that is what makes your channel interesting for me at least being a lifelong operator myself I know how to operate but then again there is a lot of people that can't and im sure they love it but for myself i like hearing the story of your life your family would love to hear you and your dad talk either way brother keep doing what it is you enjoy the rest of us is just fortunate enough to get to go with you on your journey
I always say slow and smooth is faster then rushed and all over the place. Retired owner of a construction co. we mainly did pipe lines and water and sewer plants and lift stations.
I like hearing your commentary you give alot of good details and stories, techniques etc. there enough of the just watching dirt move on RU-vid, it gets boring. You have great variety with different machines and processes, it's entertaining!
@@TheRealMrDiGG keep doing what your doing, all your videos have been great. Plus you are honest and aren't trying to prove anything so it comes across very genuine and relatable. For me at least lol
27:12 i rarely found myself skipping ahead. you narrate well and keep a story going. its well done. only thing id like to see more is some other point of views like from the dump trucks, keep talking just cut to a few shots. you already have other views like you do it well oh wait you do at the very end! :P
I like the talking I build race cars but my dad was an equipment operator so watching and hearing about your business is helpful to understand the every day workings I'm also from Maryland and have actually been past your place going racing in Aiken SC
