I'm glad I found this old gem. I used to watch this back in 2016 before I got my CDL. I imagined myself finally getting out of Indiana and exploring life and start in the oil fields haha. I started dreaming little late for the oil boom and realized it probably wasn't a good idea and took my CDL a different route. Thanks for posting this. I still enjoy watching it and the music. it's been about 5 years since I watched this and it doesn't get old.

Your video's are informed, entertaining and well done. I have family in North Dakota and like the information regarding all aspects of the industry that fuels the local and national economy.

Thanks Robert for noticing the time and patience I try to put into each video though I never have all the time it really takes to make the most out of these videos like I wish.
It might be the least visited state in America but it's at the top of the most expensive place to live. I think it's a shame that property owners are robbing these hard working men of their hard earn dollars to just to have a place to eat, shit and shower. My husband works up in ND and there is no way in hell we will ever move there. We would never be able to afford it.
People say history repeats itself. What's happening in ND is really not that much different from the times of gold rush back in the 19th century, ain't it?
10-4 PhotoDOOD53 I remember it too. I first helped move it from out of South Dakota to north of Williston then somewhere else but how I remember it is because twice I hauled that big concrete weight that is decorated to look like a man stuck in the cement.
i did many times drilling rig move as a crane opertaor but in very defrent wheather it was in south of ALGERIA . very hot weather you can't live with out clim and you have to drink water all the time
Pretty cool video. I like the music and I'm a white dude. I liked seeing how the equipment is and moved around, and off course, the chics! Just hanging out today, retired and enjoying the rain here in Arizona, some sun but mostly rain.
hell yeah on a frac job 3 weeks ago 30 km west of GP had 45 below in the windchill one night 3 nights of minus 30 plus with the wind and 5 days of snow took a 3 week break in Jan went to mexico and reall screwed myself up working in winter weather gonna wait till breakup next year before heading south.
so your not up there in williston anymore driving those hot shot trucks? your videos were very inspiring. just curious why you left. was it just too cold or were the roads just super awful
I would have to agree with the Canadian guys. For starters it hasn't even been cold here in ND for a few years, and it gets crazy cold in Canada. And as far as assholes in ND and it being the worst state, I love ND, I've lived here my entire life and everywhere I go the people are friendly. With the exception of a few out of state guys.
now i got this crazy soooooooooooooong, playing in my head, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall night looooong . doo doo doo the banana guy is too funny . you could of named this video : 2 cute females in North Dakota- A Rare Occasion.
Does saying spokes get you all them hot chickys up their on ur brake you know it's only one extra letter to spel Spokane the chickys will score more cuz u will look smart. its how i roll in at walmart town yeah boy.
frankvalle No I don't anymore. I'm currently OTR with the Mexicans. But if interested look on Craigslist.com by typing in your desired job interest or words associated with it, and in states you are interested in working. Good Luck.
this is pathetic, you want to see rig moving in a REAL extreme environment come knock down a triple in the Panther or Limestone in western Alberta in the winter
Sounds To Me Like A Bunch Of New Age Hands/ We Work Where Ever Need To And Make It Happen Where Ever It Might Be All The People I'v met ND Where Cool. But most of the Hands Arew from There Or UT Or Wy They dont Cry They Just Getter Done.
top of derrick = crown bottom of derrick = Alegs tandem truck = bedtruck small one at that. y do yous use a crane to put ther derrick together y not just use your pole trucks thats how we do it here in canada i used to move rigs and i've worked on a rig. using ranes to put derricks together would take forever by thetime you set your crane up and everything. pole trucks u just back up hook on and lift
J.R. Cruz You'll have to probably start at working for a 3rd party oilfield company like I did. We are all slow right now Its been slow like this since October 2014. . Its a dangerous job no matter what you do in the oilfield.
I was offered a job working with Dual Trucking anyone know about this company. they pay for most everything. some changes are: you have to pay for you stay with them. after 6 months it go's from 4$0 a day to $20 a day. they just sent me a email telling me to hold off they will contact me soon. I'm from florida and I have all the proper clothing. for extreme cold. I'm from NJ so I know some of what to expect of the cold. down to 0 degrees
are you serious?! the gruesome task in terribly cold north dakota?? try moving rigs in northern alberta when its -63 celcius with the windchill driving over frozen rivers
You should try moving a rig sometime yourself, Ace. Nice move there in picking the lowest temp. ever recorded in Canada. Once. In 1947. You gotta be what, 90 years old? Nothin' worse than a 90 year old lying fuck, I always say. And the wind chill doesn't give a rat's ass what it's blowing over, whether it's frozen rivers, a gaggle of hookers, or a frozen 90 year old lying fuck carcass. Air temp and wind speed, Bucko. You have failed as a troll. Back to your basement! (Yeah, it's 5 year old post. Just couldn't let it slide!).
Ok... you named a few things from the industry, showed a couple of clips of different rig move operations, and that's about it. This video has nothing to do with what the "about" section describes it as. This was a joke.
