I’m hearing so many moving back to Cali from TN. Reasons weather and people saying they are bored to death. Making us second guess the possible move from southern Cali.

Nashville costs just as much as CA now. Nashville pays WAY less. If you grew up in CA you are used to highest wages around. The food in TN really sucks. There not much outdoor stuff to do in Nashville. I have met a ton of people who move back to CA after a year or two.

San Diego native here... that $875K median includes the far inland dessert areas. Where I live, (north coastal) you can't get a one bedroom condo for $875K!
It depends on what part of California. Tennessee doesn’t have an answer to San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles. They cost more for a reason. Networking, opportunities, salaries are on a different level. I don’t think there is another place with a start up scene like silicon valley. Sacramento and Nashville may be peers but costs of living considering the salaries are about the same. Nashville is good for some. Other places are good for others.
Nashville native born and raised Nashville is Vegas now tourism is insane traffic is insane and over populated I think 10 million people visited last year
Get ready for allergies in nashville .. and boiling hot summers .. I lived there and it is beautiful and green but California by far has the beat weather and stunning nature and scenery.. neaches and mountains .!!
LA's not cheap, especially when it comes to housing. Make sure you've got a solid budget that covers all the basics and maybe stash some extra cash for emergencies. But LA's a melting pot, man. Embrace the mix of cultures and perspective, it's what makes the city awesome!
