I completely feel you.....I left LINY back at the end of 2018....I will tell you my 1st Yr here that winter i woke up and it was 40°....I was not expecting that.....yes its more so hot all year round and ur body eventually will adapt to the climate becuz I stay wearing a hoodie 😂..lol Overall i love it here and no plans ever to move back to NY just hate these drivers.....the worst especially here in So Miami 🤦🏾♀️

My aunts on moms side moved in the mid 90s i think 93 and 95 and my uncle Russel moms eldest brother actually moved to South Carolina in 1993 and bought a summer home in Lancaster sometime in 2009
My uncle Joe dads eldest brother actually moved to Albany in 1985 for college then wound up staying for work he is a self employed builder and constructor
Are you driving from ny? Maybe you can look into shipping your car through Amtrak if you don’t want do that long drive. But if you’re going to drive down. I would say get some good sleep before the drive. You can drive half the way then stop at a hotel to get some sleep and reset then finish the drive down.
Hey 👋🏽 I would say the job market is pretty good. It seems like almost everyone is hiring right now. I personally haven’t used fb for finding rentals so I can’t say. In my opinion, www.apartments.com is the best site for finding rentals. Here are a few other sites that I found helpful www.Zillow.com , www.apartmentfinder.com , www.rent.com , www.zumper.com , www.hotpads.com

Looks good sista love the video what part of ny were you from anyways and i have family down in tampa bay btw but trinity to be exact which is nearby and my entire dads sides is in palm beach and has been since 1999 my grandparents were the first to move in 1989 to Florida from west islip long island and my second uncle dads youngest brother was first to move in 1997 for what i think was a security gig before being hired to palm beach pd in 1998 then my granddad moved to palm beach in 1998 once he closed my dads childhood home in Lynbrook then my aunt was the last to leave in 1999
We had moved too late in the school year so he had to wait to start school for the following school year. Florida starts school in august & finish in may.

So far so good. We’ve been loving it here! I have family in Florida about 3 & 4 hours away from us. I don’t have any friends out here tho. I need to find some. Covid makes it it hard to socialize as much tho. Where are you from?
