Moving From Sydney To Tasmania (19th - 23rd January 2018) 

I can't count the amount of times I've watched this because it's so good.

G’day mate. I’ve watched this video about 5 times. I live about 1hr away from Melbourne and I always catch the train in. But on the odd occasion we drive into Melbourne. I really hope Diana changes here opinion of Melbourne. I suggest if you ever visit Melbourne again, to look at the videos provided by VicRoads or Yarra Trams on how to drive with trams because it will explain everything about the Turing right from the left lane and stuff like that.

I wish you could do another video like this! This video is so entertaining, thanks so much for making quality content, it makes me want to move to Australia. I can’t stop watching this video, it’s amazing!

I don't know why...but this is the ONLY travel vlog I come back to and watch it completely. I don't even remember how many times I watched it. I love this channel as much as I do OSFirstTimer.

I never knew the pylons (or pillars, but I don't know what exactly they're called), helped provide for what are basically (by the looks of it) separate lanes from the middle of the bridge. 29:41 Yep! One thing I like about these smaller inns and motels is that they sometimes offer actual pay TV service, rather than going through a headend system (and not offering guests direct control of the receiver). I remember us staying in a holiday apartment near Gold Coast, and they offered Foxtel TV that was just like what we had at home, albeit with less channels. 30:35 What is it with those HPM door frame mounted switches that I like... 33:50 I'm very sure I've seen the same TV branded as "PALLADINE"...

I can't believe I'm here again, all these years after, watching a moving vlog. I'm fascinated with Australia and the landscape. I sometimes use Google Maps and just drop in someplace in Australia; Often Adelaide for some reason. I am so thankful for this channel.

I've watched this so many times. It's good because the way he talks makes you feel like you're part of the experience.

Congratulations on moving to Tasmania. The journey from northern Tasmania to Hobart looks like rural Ireland, just much more sunny and far less green. I will really miss the old apartment but can't wait to see how you guys will make changes to the new house. The best part will be more free time, less stress and far more privacy. Your new internet speed is a huge improvement, I found it kinda strange that Manly still has ADSL for such a respectable and built up area in one of the worlds greatest cities. I have to say, I agree with Diana, not a big fan of the CBD's, and I'll make a point to avoid Melbourne's, if i ever get down that way. Sydney looks more my style, although that farm looks like heaven.

I happened upon this after watching "Mum"'s" vid on Arch Linux, (...brilliant by the way!) and thought Uh! don't want to watch 2hrs! In the first couple of minutes I was sucked in, and watched it all,! It was a brilliant video watch, you guys are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to live. It's left me wanting to see more of your new life in Hobart and the back story which led you there.

17:20 Even in daylight, the camera flash is quite bright, so it would have been pretty easy to tell, though I've only seen it happen once when someone ran a red light.

I know how it feels when you leave a place you lived in for a long time. I started crying the morning before I took the school bus for the last time and saw everything in boxes. Fortunately we were just moving to a bigger house about ten minutes away, so I didn’t move out of town.

44:58 Melbourne has the largest tram system in the world. Bigger than any other city and bigger than all the tram systems in the USA combined. The trams are only free in the CBD though

In some areas of Boston they have electric buses. Not on batteries but with wires above the road like Melbourne. Even back in the 80's they had them and I'm pretty sure they had already been there for a long long time. Tree lined streets are not uncommon in places that have plenty of water. I enjoyed the site seeing. My wife's family is from Singapore so I have been to Sydney once enjoyed the fruit bats and my niece is currently going to University of Melbourne
