When I was growing up, we lived right next door to my grandparents. After I was married, I lived on that property as well. It was wonderful with all the parents, grandparents and kids. Y'all are going to be blessed.

Whoever bought your old house is getting a MASSIVE upgrade from what it was before. Y'all poured a lot of hard work and love into that house, and the new owners will benefit from it.

I have lived in my house for 43 years. Austin did a great job hanging curtains. I know you will love your new house. Close to the creek, Katie, mom, dad, and baby Ira.
My husband and I have built 9 homes and remodeled several. Each time we moved was kind of sad but I knew there were more memories to make. We are through with the building part of our life and are settled into our home where we’ll stay until we can’t take care of ourselves anymore. Many blessings to you in your new home. I always think that you girls look so much like Mom and Dad depending on the day but after seeing a photo of Ms. Cindy when she was younger with dark hair....WOW Corie, you and Katie look just like her. Beautiful.

It so happened that my husband's Aunt Vic knew my beloved paternal grandmother, Irene. When Grandma passed away, Aunt Vic gave me an old, carved wooden box that had been given to her by my grandmother. Back in 1982, we were selling some old pieces of jewelry at a kiosk and met a stranger who knew my grandma too. We got to talking, and the stranger gave me a firebird pin that they were going to sell. It wasn't that odd, really; my grandmother knew everyone and sold produce from their farm, so many people knew her. All these years later, I still keep the firebird pin in the carved wooden box. I feel that they were signs from my grandmother that she was still with me, even though she had passed.
Take your time and don't stress. Olive never disappoints. She's always the same, precious and sweet.❤ God is with you. Enjoy the life God has given you and Austin. Can hardly wait to see the darling little boy inside Corie's tummy. Love to all 3 of you. Was a nice home, loved the fireplace (won’t miss the 🔴cabinets) But its nice knowing your boy will grow up in one home in Wilson holler surrounded by a loving family!! Very excited for you all🥰sweet to see Katie being mama!🌻

I lost my daughter 9 years ago she was 36 at the time so I keep pictures cards birthday, mother day, valentines all kinds of cards she gave me thought out the years, I like them near so I reach out for them in the middle of night, I’m so happy for you guys on your new home your dad did a great job on the kitchen.
Treasure each moment you have with your Daddy and what all he does for you, I miss my Daddy every day, wish I could turn back the time, I lost him a year ago in December. Your Grandma was a beautiful lady, wow, she could have been a model, you and Katie favor her! I’m emotional too Corie, I cry about everything. But, those stairs would be scary toting your baby up and down. I did love the red kitchen. Red is my favorite color. And your son and Katie’s son will grow up more like brothers than cousins. Having your parents next door is a blessing for both your families. Now, we just need to get Granny back home. I’m still praying for her. These are the sweet years honey. One day, you and Austin will remember moving in this house WAY back when. Blessed memories. I love y’all. 😘
