@@KathyChung yes it is! I want to stay in the same halls you are - in the city centre right? But worried as my course is located in the Falmer campus and don’t want a big trek everyday. Do you find it noisy of an evening where u are? X

Also what is public transport like around the area? Is there transport linked to the area x

@@rubycatherine9159 there is a bus station like a 5 minute walk where u can get buses up to falmer either on the uni bus which is free with ur uni card or the public buses which come often

@@rubycatherine9159 and for the noise it’s quite good u don’t really hear it at all, i haven’t had a problem with the noise x

hiya so this is kaplan living which is really close to the grand parade campus and i tried to find my flat mates lol but i never did i legit only found one person before i moved in so it was a surprise for me x

the community is very diverse i met a lot of people that were international students as well as students that are from all over the country and everyone is super friendly!! xx

yeh it is and yeh the accommodation i’m in is only a year old which doesn’t hurt haha x

hiya so the process was you list your preferences of accommodations so you have the one you want the most at the top going down, I think you had up to 3 choices and then at the end you say what feature you want if you can't get your preferred choice eg ensuite etc, for me there was no option to choose who you end up sharing with you may have to talk to the uni about that if there's specific people you want to share with but hoped that kind of helped xx

hey i think if u get the grades that are asked for in ur offer then u r more than likely if not definitely accepted, but it’s definitely not hard to get into in comparison to like oxford/cambridge x

hiya i personally don’t know the answer but no one in the accom had a pet and i think it goes for all accom that pets aren’t allowed unless exceptional circumstances but i’m assuming not z

that’s so exciting, congrats!! and i loved living in brighton especially being in the centre by the beach, the shops, the lanes etc so it was so easy to get everywhere!! the accom i stayed in as well was so nice!! it’s modern and just really “pretty” in regards to like colour schemes so like u didn’t have a random blue wall uno, it was just grey and white which i loveee haha, and for getting packages that was fine and easy, no hassle there, you also get a flat postbox for letters which are locked so only ur flat can access, although there aren’t many washing machines and dryers so u have to plan when to do ur washing as they can get taken quite quickly, hope that helps any other questions feel free to ask :)) xx

hiya im not sure what you mean by this, you have to pay tuition fees for all unis but you are able to get student finance which can pay this off for you and you gradually pay it back over the years when you work after uni, hope that kind of helps :))) xx

@@KathyChung hi I came back to ask On google there are loads and loads of reviews of people saying that this halls of residence have cleared and thrown loads of students belongings away as they can’t get home due to Covid. Have u heard anything of this??
