We ran out of time this year and clearly took on too many projects. The Lady MT is very close to being finished, but we need to stop for summer break. All the final exams are done, the awards are given, and students graduated. Many of our students that have been working on re-powering this 25' Ranger Tug are coming back for their second year of coursework and will be eager to get this project finished so we can go out for a boat ride!
Come August we'll finish up the last few details and do the sea-trials in September. Then the boat will be listed on Yachtworld and sold. Actually, it'll be 'auctioned' as it's state property and we have to follow the rules and make sure it's a fair deal.
We are super excited about the next big project, a 48' Bob Perry custom ketch-rigged sailboat. We will be doing a complete refit, similar to what we did on King's Pride! It'll be getting new electrical, engine, rigging, & plumbing. Follow us starting August 2024 as we dive into this new project.
