Pmsl thanks for remembering us dude... I can help you with the poncho hood, pull the drawstring tight and then loop the string around the hood and tighten it up... Worked for me on my poncho tarp. Any time you want to go camp we're ready 👍. Atb James

As James says the cord of the hood goes round the cinched up section to tie it off. They don't make great tarps too be honest as just too small to be of any use. Handy for the odd unexpected rain shower though. When you set it up as a tarp make sure hood hole point downwards then rain runs around it.

Hello Mark, come across your channel via Instagram, I normally hammock camp ,but have a feeling this summer ,stealth (bivvybag/poncho/basha) will be the way to go, what with people getting turfed off already in the peak district, lakes etc, so can teach my youngest son stealth and camouflage camps, he has his own hammock rig, bug this will be new to him, looking forward to watching the rest of your videos, glad to see your a fisherman too, good health and safe travels, cheers craig
That's really nice you include your sin and he has an interest with you. Your right about peak district, the locals are getting s bit sick of people with bright lanshans and tents everywhere. Csnt blame them really. Been there myself in the woodland and that was a mess. I lovey bivvybag especially the open face ones. Getting in touch with my inner hobo. Ha ha ha. I also do hammock camps. Nit confident enough to put my hammock up on my own. I will have ago and fall out of it. Or some other disaster. Stealth wildcamps. Is what it used to be about. Essex innit! I've got a Dutch army system and Snugpak Special Forces system. I'm going to use the bivvy with the Snugpak and my British poncho (or I might use DD super light tarp) once recover from hip op. Great vid. Kevin.

Nice one Mark - I bought an ex army 58 patt poncho which I'd like to try out some time, though I've never done a tarp camp but maybe something for the fairer weather. If you want to not have to pack cooking gear, just do what I did on the last couple of camps that I did with Tom - take sarnies!!!
