Your dogs are beautiful and well cared for. I don't understand why people have to comment when you are trying to get to your new home and have to kennel your dogs. They are safe in the kennel and are right by each other to keep each other company.

Great fun with you on your life-time trip. Sorry for your sore neck; totally can identify with you. On a lighter note for me: seeing you visiting the Reptile Garden and Mount Rushmore has special memories for me. Back in 1967, my husband and I travelled cross-country from Ft. Benning, up to PA to say good-bye to my husband's family and then out to Ft. Lewis for a few months before he left for his tour in Viet Nam. We also stopped at the famous Corn Palace in Mitchel, SD which was extremely interesting. Thanks for the road trip and my fond memory of our trip. By the way, hubby made it back home safe and sound. Hope you continue to have a safe journey and I am so happy for you on your new adventure in such a beautiful state as Alaska.

It’s wonderful to follow along your journey. As someone who suffers from neck pressure and pain - I’ll share a little of what I do until I get to my chiropractor. Epsom salts bath and soak my neck, bio freeze, and a massager. I like your rice suggestion- I’m going to implement that 👍.

I can tell Joe is happier, more relaxed. Parker is so adorable . These are memories that will last with him forever. He’s at a great age for this wonderful adventure. Oh my! I remember going to Reptile Gardens when I was your son’s age. That was close to 50 years ago. They had the big giant tortoises back then. So much fun. And Prairie Dog Town. What a trip back. So glad you are making your way! When I drove over the road, I would stop and do stretches because when you are on the road, you are constantly tensed up. You are constantly bouncing up and down and pounding the spine. That's why truck drivers have air ride seats! And, as far as your dogs go, their cages are the best place to ride. It's fun watching your journey, especially because I have traveled all of the roads you are on!

Originally being from far western Nebraska, we've been to the Black Hills many times. Always in awe of the natural and man-made beauty of the area. Glad to see your trip is going so well and you get to enjoy the great scenery of our country. Been watching from here in Alaska. Sent you email. Enjoy the trip. Don't rush. Well other than needing to hit your ferry when you have to be there to board. So much great world to see. And the dogs are fine. My Sepps know when I grab harnesses or we head toward the jeep or the truck that its time to go somewhere, so I know that experience you spoke of where they are excited to just be in the truck because it menas they will see something new, be somewhere else. My husband and I did a road trip from NC out West to many National Parks, Grand Canyon , North then East. Took 28 days and it was amazing! We have such a beautiful country that many never get to see. We were celebrating our 45th anniversary and just celebrated our 46th hoping to travel back West! I am loving your adventure !

I'm so envious of what you all are doing. Following your dream. Alaska is by far the prettiest place I've ever been. Spent two weeks in Wasilla with my son. The only drawback for me would be the winter time LOL I complain about the cold winters here in Louisville Ky. Maybe if I was alot younger the 77 it would be different. Love your content ❤ Be safe! I keep wasp spray because it sprays out sooo far but I don’t know what bear spray does. To be sure it sprays out far too. Lol. Looking forward too your Alaska adventure. I saw your cabin when you were there before and I love it. It’s nice and cosy looking! Be blessed guys! ❤ Dear get a heating pad too and plug into an inverter. Btw Advil works a lot better on inflammation than Tylenol. Trust me I’ve had my share of neck pain from whiplash n I pray our Lord completely heals you sister! 🙏🏼

Your dogs look like they're really enjoying the trip. Definitely not suffering! I agree that they are safer in their kennels. I thought Mt. Rushmore would be in higher mountain terrain. And I don't know if I would eat a cricket either.

I am and feel so Blessed to be able to ride with you guys on your journeys. I love love love your channel. You three+ 2 is amazing. I live in Hawai’i and have only traveled a little and nothing like you guys. I’ve been to Alaska and I love it there, the mountains, trees, Moose, Bears Amazing and the people are so kind. I was a breeder for a time and am a strong proponent of kenneling. My puppies left me kennel trained and they loved it. We leave the kennel door open at home and our male stays in there more than not. It’s his choice to go in. Ok I’m back. I’m dying at the cricket part. I’m not even finished yet and tears are flowing. 😂😂 Classic dad: your moms a girl 😂

I know how you are feeling. When I retired it was the best feeling! My last day of work when I was leaving I yelled “I’m free at last! I’m free at last! Thank God Almighty I’m free at last!”
