Ocean Isle Beach is A unique small beach town community, Family friendly with tons of activities the area has to offer, there are plenty of nice restaurant, local attractions, events, and outdoor activities for everyone.
THINGS TO DO IN OCEAN ISLE BEACH:
1. The museum of Coastal Carolina.
2. Fill your day with fun, zip-lining through the canopy or ATV riding at The Swamp Park Zip Line & ATV center.
3. Enjoy a stroll or try your luck fishing at the Ocean Isle Beach Pier.
4. Town Center Park where you can play at the playground, splash pad or River County Mini Golf
5. Silver Coast Winery (Excellent place to relax, wonderful spot for your weekend getaway and to do some local wine tasting.
6. If you like golfing there are plenty of spots to choose from, from mini-golf to championship links.
RESTAURANTS:
Here are my top 5 Restaurants that you should try:
1.For Breakfast, I would recommend The Purple Onion Cafe - located just 10 minutes away in Shallotte, this TripAdvisor travelers choice award winner is sure to satisfy. Wait until you see their giant pancakes!
2. For seafood, check out Sharky’s or the famous Ocean Isle Fish Company , they serve fish fresh from the boat. A great place to get a fishing charter and then dinner afterwards. Their Tiki Bar on the upper deck overlooks all of Ocean Isle Beach, so you can enjoy a cocktail along with the perfect view.
3. For American cuisine try the Causeway Gourmet, they offer casual dining, take-out, delivery, catering, homemade deserts, and daily specials.
4. Inlet View Bar and Grill, has an awesome coastal setting, with amazing waterway views. Watch the boats come by wile savoring their delicious food, both sea food and turf based.
5. For something different, Sugar Shack. This vibrant Jamaican Restaurant is a hot spot that brings the flavors of the Caribbean to Ocean Isle Beach. They have the best Jerk Wings, Coconut Shrimp and ribs!
