I loved this video, i was planning on moving to nyc however i live in the uk at the moment so it is going to be really tricky for me with gathering the money to move to new york i have nearly graduated highschool and looking for colleges, sadly i don’t think i’ll be able to go to college in ny but i’m so happy for you!!!

There is NOTHING wrong with going to a community college and then going to state school... because SHOCKER, you pay IN STATE tuition rather than out of state tuition. Why would you want to put yourself in debt just to live in an expensive ass city right away? Of course it is going to be easy to move to NYC when you are an out of touch influencer that didn't grow up poor or with struggle at all. You are still going to a traditional college, that doesn't change just because you're in NY. There is no difference between NY colleges compared to other four year colleges.. I don't think you understand the amount of privilege you have living in an expensive ass city in an apartment BY YOURSELF while others are struggling to even afford food in college. Also in some states now, you can go to college for free if you are a resident there.. but continue to promote the toxicity of expensive ass colleges. :) All colleges say they are going to have strict attendance rules, but they really don't... you're just a goody two shoes.
i’m not going to college in new york this upcoming fall i’m going to ucf in orlando but this video really helped me with all of your tips. i’m someone who is looking to start over in college and make as many friends as i can, and i really appreciated your advice to say yes to everything and start talking to people. i also am naturally introverted and did online classes for a lot of my junior and senior year with dual enrollment, so going away to college is going to be a huge adjustment for me. you really inspire me to come out my shell and take advantage of new opportunities in college 🤍🤍 thank you sm katelyn for this video!!
