I hope you got the last apartment because of the in unit laundry. However, I don't think you did because units like that will go fast. I'm still excited to see what you chose. 😊
I am such a low energy person that I am SO impressed and in awe that you toured soooooo many in one day. Holy cow. I’m pooped just thinking about it. Major props to you. I know you said it’s because you didn’t want to take off work but still - that’s insanely productive. I hope you continue to live a happy and healthy life in your new place, so exciting! The hardest part is done, the fun of moving in and decorating is about to begin 🖼️ 🛋️🪞
awe thanks so much!! it def wore me out and would not recommend scheduling it like that hahah! but thanks so much :))) so true cant wait for that journey!!
gahhhh cant wait for your moving and decorating content! honestly so excited and happy for this new chapter esp having your own space for the first time! and i predict the last one w/ the in-unit washer/dryer. the finishings looked really modern and new!
Congrats on your new place! FiDi is a nice area to land for new transplants. It’s not known for its vibe, but worth it for many for the convenience. As you know, access to transit is superb and it’s fairly quiet after hours. Cons are the area is windy and with all the buildings so close together getting decent sunlight is a problem. Can’t wait to see which one you picked. 😊
Wow thank you so much for taking us along on your apartment search!! I hope that you picked the best one that was right for you. I personally would have picked the last one because to me a washer and dryer is a non-negotiable item I must have!! I'm so excited to see which one you chose sweetie!!!!🥰
I cannot wait! I have love hate with apartment hunting. I feel like there are so many duds before you find the right place. But I LOVE looking at all the different spaces. I think you went with the apartment with the in unit wash/dryer
Damn ... I'm exhausted just watching you hustle around not to mention increasingly stressed as your phone was dying and trying to locate a place to charge it. 1) Buy a powerbank; 2) Buy your own stash of gluten free straws and utensils to keep in your bag at all times--this is frequently an issue for you esp cuz you're always eating/drinking out!; and 3) My guess is also the last place with the W/D! Second guess is the one you got really excited about towards the end. 😊
I loveee this series ❤❤ it’s so cool to see! I woulda been sold w the washer/dryer apt 😭 that’s gonna be my guess but idk u saw some rlly good ones ahh i’m so excited for youuuuu ❤
NYC is just not Mahattan. It also includes the other 4 boroughs.Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Staten Island. I'm only stating this because you sounded to me as if you're were differentiating. Anyway, congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 ✨️ on securing your desired apartment.
Hi Lucia! I just moved to Battery Park in January and I’m renting a one bedroom for 3600 per month! Just for context it also has a concierge, rooftop, gym, 800 sq ft and nice! Also dishwasher and laundry on every floor** These studios you’re touring definitely seem a little pricey given my recent experience so it could be good to email apartment mgmt directly by finding their websites. Good luck with moving!
Hi Lucia I missed you gurl! I’ve been watching but not commenting…this was great! I said I liked 10, 12 and 15 before you said it😜 I think you chose the last one- the washer and dryer did it for you- Can’t wait to see more ♥️
glad you decided to branch out of greenwich village. honestly, i'd never want to live there. it's way too crazy on the weekends. i lived in FiDi from 2005-2008 and it's totally safe, and there's way more down there now than when i lived there. there's also an alamo drafthouse near the Federal Bank. But also... do you not wash your face after you take your makeup off?? If you don't, you 100% should. the makeup remover takes off makeup, but not dirt. lastly, you do NOT want to have to deal with a board packet to sublet from an owner in a co-op. it's so much work. (did that from 2008-2014.) can't wait to see the apartment!
I’m confused why you didn’t like West village (too expensive?) Fidi as you call it is struggling massively. After 9/11 it took a major hit and than after pandemic commercial real estate there took another major hit, which puts even more stress on residential there. If you can, visit Dead Rabbit for dinner- place is amazing- if it’s still there. I went last in fall of 2019. Anyone else been recently???
Hi Lucia 🙂 So many viewings, you must be exhausted. I hope you picked the apartment that is the 'best' for your needs. I'm looking forward to seeing the big reveal................................
NY makes LA apartments feel like the midwest. lol! I mean it's expensive here but man NY is a very expensive shoebox, not to mention the eating out, transportation, coffees, etc.
If you film with a camera, would you mind turning the viewfinder around so it’ll feel like you are looking at us instead of at yourself? Really changes the mood of the video when creators do this!❤
I hate brokers fees, the worst part is that they only really do it in Manhattan because they want to scam people. This literally isn’t a thing in any of the other boroughs With that said I think you got the last apartment, but either way congratulations on the new apartment!! Now you really are an official New Yorker
FYI for the future Target at 255 Greenwich has an actual free phone charging station. And I agree New Yorkers are nice and helpful and get such a bad rap
Hi. You maybe interested in a RU-vid video called The secret steam tunnel system of NYC And why it pours out of the street. It's on the It's History channel.
Jesus a brokers fee?? I’ve never heard of that for an apartment! It’s not like a real estate agent listing apartments where I live it’s the apartment building it’s self lol. We do have first months rent pet deposit that stuff but Omgsh. But Stop that very last one I was like that is so my vibe.
Girl I’ve been living in NYC for 6 years. Idk why girls always look for luxury buildings floor to ceiling windows. There are much cheaper options in the UES and UWS with exposed brick, windows and charm 1 bedrooms. Close to Central Park. I live in 78th and Madison Ave. Don’t get blindsided. I’m on IG on a group called UES girls. You’ll see how much you’re missing.
Like, like, like… do you know any other word? Like! I was like and like… go back to Chicago. The straw is not gluten free! OMG I cant even drink this LIKEEEE Ima die. 😂😂😂
hi! belatedly watching this video + also looking into moving to fidi from battery park. would you mind sharing the name of building #3 if you didn't choose it? love the layout of apartment #7 and would def be interested in something similar.
