Beautiful footage - I went down to Fergburger at night and was only a short wait (but then you had to brave the cold!). Btw your Hooker Valley trail video encouraged me to do the same walk (was absolutely beautiful)
Hi Terry! Thank you for watching my videos 😃 Sounds like the brave get the rewards at Fergs HAAA (night cold is the tester!). Ahhh I love hearing you did the Hooker Valley track! I'm so happy you experienced its stunning offerings. It's quite a gentle hike too, so adds to the already positive experience 🥰 Have an awesome rest of the week, and cheers again for watching!
It's so wonderful to see NZ again through your lens!! Thanks so much for this awesome video, Gemma!! I love that you took us everywhere that I'd want to go: gorgeous views and the grocery store 🍔 and wow, prices on milk have almost doubled in the past 2 years! ...just like here in the US... Hope to see more of your fabulous adventures there ❤ will you be visiting the north island as well?
My pleasure! 🥰 Thank you for watching - I’m so happy you enjoyed walking through NZ! 💗 In a strange way, I am glad we can all relate to the “what the heck prices??!!” Queenstown relies a lot on tourism and it keeps surviving what gets thrown its way HA! - it’s a gift to be able to come here and share experiences with you - I appreciate your kindness and comment with feedback and reading about your experience over there in the US! (I am keen to visit there!) 🙌😃 Have a beautiful week and keep well! ⭐️😊
The Fergburger was one of the few times I struggled to complete a meal. The cheese and bacon stick i had for breakfast was just as good. I'm thinking of taking a long weekend in October to return to Queenstown for the Ferg food and to have another go at white water rafting
Hi Rick! Thank you for your comment - it's a little niche of a food stop and the size of the burger was planetary. HA! October will be a beautiful month to visit and sure to have perfect Spring days with just the right amount of crispy sun 👌Enjoy the white water rafting! I'm keen to hear how it goes! (and now you have me interested in trying it in future, that sounds like fun!) Keep well and hope you have a wonderful week! 🥰
Wow, you’re in the NZ equivalent of Noosa or Manly but FMD those supermarket prices are absolutely off the charts. $6.79 for the bottle of kiwi ice magic 😂
HAAA right? I had to video that bit, and wondered if anyone picked that up 😅 Flavoured oil and sugar now has a premium. Cheaper (and better) to eat a block of chocolate 🤣 Hahahah Noosa prices -gosh it's been ages since I visited there, but even 20 yrs ago places like Maleny and Noosaville etc were known to be 'where wealthy folk go to retire'. Now, everywhere seems to be nutz for prices!
Thank you Dean! The land here and the people I've met so far are amazing. This country is srsly one of the BEST places on the planet 😍 Thanks for watching and hope you have a great weekend!
@@AussieGem your very welcome you well love it here .there are so many Americans here .they still think they dreaming here lol .I've been watching American reactions on new Zealand. Very interesting to hear what they are going to about aotearoa new Zealand. Love it 😀 😍
I suspect the snow sports are being a big draw card for many. You're right - SOOO many awesome places to visit in NZ. The communities have been the best there, it's always a pleasure to save up + come over and support the local business and people 😊Hope you have a great week, and thank you for watching 🙂
@@AussieGem I live in Tasman area, have met zillions of Asians, Germans, and other Europeans. 1 Australian so far. But apparently Aus is one of the biggest tourist demographic here. Have a good trip, John Farnham is my favourite Australian heh
