I like Stihl and Husky and they are both equally as good as each other. I just prefer Stihl because that's what I started with and all the bars and chains are inter-changeable (by choice) on the pro saws. This has nothing to do with homesteading. Those who want to make it and can do it I wish them well and good health.
@@OldSchoolMillennial Thank you. I watched your Husky 550XP videos and would dearly like to get a Husky so visitors don't think I am one eyed. Keep steaming my friend.
Hey Glenn, We would love to hear your backstory, of when you were a child, wanting to live out in the country. Did you have anyone that you looked up to, that is/was living that life? How did you go about convincing your wife to get into this?
Thanks for the encouragement. Country living is the best and how I believe we were created to live. My wife and I were raised in some very remote locations, but currently live on the outskirts of a small town, so we're working hard to get back to that self-sufficient remote country lifestyle. God bless.
Thank you! I agree with that. I hope to encourage as many people towards that end from this channel. I'm glad to hear you and your wife are working on living self sufficiently. When I'm outdoors working with my hands, enjoying the beauty that God made, I feel closer to Him.
I was just wondering if you would be posting soon. Good to see you back and great video! A lot of good points and tips here. I believe there is about to be (or already is) a mad dash of people getting out of the city and/or practicing this self sufficient lifestyle.
In this video I was wearing Red Wings. The model number on these is 2233. I have a few different pair of Red Wings because I've had really good luck with them. This particular pair I've had for over 8 years now. (They've been resoled)
