Congratulations! My daughter Finley did her first CP in January 2016 and she worked in all four parks through several CP hitches. She's now a full time trainer/operator in Storybook Circus and at Belle in Fantasyland. (She also met her husband at Traditions). If you're in Fantasyland and see a woman with a "Finn" or "Finley" name badge, say hi.

I legit got teary eyed during this cause I can kinda relate to this in terms of leaving your home country and someone you love for many months. I studied abroad for 6 months in college and saying goodbye to my mom at the airport was SO. HARD. But to this day, studying abroad was one of the bravest and coolest things I’ve ever done. I’m so proud of you Brandon for following your dream and going on this adventure even though there will be hard times. Enjoy this program to the fullest and I’m already excited to see how it turns out and also when Heidi visits you ☺️ and of course remember… it’s always sunny! ☀️

As someone who did the DCP twice, in the start you’ll want to go home but don’t! It’s a weird transition especially leaving everyone but you’ll realize that everyone else is in the same position and are there to be your friend. I met two of my bridesmaids through this amazing program and it’s so worth it. It will definitely not be amazing everyday but you’ll look back when you go back home and realize it was one of the best times of your life. Good luck!!

Yay!!! I hope you have an amazing time! My fiancé and I were apart for two and a half months last fall for school and it was hard, but you’ll get through this. I found journaling my thoughts and feelings was very helpful. Also FaceTiming or calling anytime you can will help. I can’t wait for this journey for you and all of the vlogs! Have fun! :)

I was accpeted and am supposed to go soon. Does anyone know if you should arrive right on your arrival date? Should you arrive a few days prior to that?
Congratulations on being accepted that’s so exciting!! You’ll have the best time 😊 in my opinion I would recommend getting there the day before just to be safe as your move in time could be as early as 8:00 am on move in day! I last year flew down the day before my move in and stayed at a hotel for the night so I was rested and ready for move in day! I did though have a friend who took a super early morning flight and got to flamingo right on time for her move in time but she was pretty exhausted that day! So I think it’s totally up to you and what you feel is best for you’re situation but I know either way you’ll have a great time 😊😊hopefully that was helpful and thank you so much for watching!
