@@kayla_bowler Groceries will never get cheaper, as have been here 5 years, so I try to buy on sale (even that's $$). Make your best, as the beauty of the island makes up for it. I grow some edibles so that helps.

It is worth it to go to costco and get meat, and then get your fresh stuff from other stores life Safeway. Also coupon is the best way to save at Safeway. That is how we managed.
