You have an AMAZING size apartment BUT you are using items in a small scale. You have the right idea but go BIGGER and less. Also (I) would put the rug back in the bedroom and get a bigger one for the living room. The rug is BEAUTIFUL 🥰Good luck in the new place ❤❤❤

Yes!! Bigger, better quality items cost more but they look better and you need less things to make an impact. The tiny lamps and decor items won't give you the look you're seeking.

Ur right i was thinking the same thing. I remember my 1st apt i made these small mistakes too bc i was so excited to furnish and decorate but it does take time to acquire all the pieces and furniture. Little by little u will start to see ur apt come together. Patience is key.

Kamryn! Girl please you could literally post video of you taking a walk and we’d all watch because you’re just really good at vlogging and editing. It’s honestly top tier. Moving vlogs, workouts, school, work, whatever it is you know how to tell a story. It’ll never be boring. That’s why your channel is growing so fast. It’s the aesthetics and story telling. Suggestions: Maybe try laying your white pillows flat. And prop up the other 4. 2nd for your tv stand. Your decor is too small. Put 2 or 3 more eucalyptus trigs in the vase. Get a taller vase or a cool tall statue for the other side for balance. The middle space on your TV stand needs bigger books or art The pink floor lamp is cute but you need a bigger on. Look for maybe a arc floor lamp in rose gold or may the gun metal color. Your room and couch are big. So I think your decor should be a bit more substantial for balance. Just friendly suggestions. Hope they give you some idea. Love your vlogs.

Samee, as a young adult turning 18, these videos are literally like an inspirational walking steps towards adulthood. Any of your videos always teach me a lesson that I either never knew about or improved upon. Been a follower since day 1 and each video is amazing. I would try a striped sheet set. Maybe tan, light brown or taupe. Or even that green in a stripe. Fold the sheet back over so the stripes are showing on part of the comforter. Then you have solid pillows and striped pillow cases.

Pink lamp looks like it’s for a child’s room. Maybe for color get a printed rug for the living room (larger sized) Google how rugs are supposed to be sized (12-18 inches off the wall and should come out past both sides of your couch) the rug is perfect for your bedroom!

The apartment is coming along nicely. I actually like the rug in the living room. The mirror is nice where it’s at in room I’d just probably position it at an angle, don’t put it by your bed. I think once you start adding some wall art maybe above your bed the bedding will make more sense. As far as the Christmas tree goes, you can put it in front of your balcony door, do not put it in your room lol. New subbie by the way❤️. I’m also new to Houston. 🫶🏾

I think the problem with the color scheme of your bed is the bright white comforter and pillows. Maybe try off white and see if that works better

Should have pro put up curtains!!! Or watch u-tube!!! Just an expansion rod would have definitely be the trick!! No drilling, no holes!!! Pull the rug forward under the sofa!!! Mirror should go in the living room! You should scotch guard that rug or it will get dirty quickly!

i think as for the mirror , leaving it on the tv wall is better but at an angle so it doesn’t just look like it’s sitting there . and for the bed, the pink looked great i think you just need a bigger pillow with maybe a pink white and tan scheme to tie it together if that’s what you’re looking for .

Love your moving vlogs. If you want to balance your bedding go for a textured comforter. It can still be a solid white color but try something like waffle knit for example.

you could possibly get a nice bowl and fill it with potpourri. Not only does it add great smell but some set have nice colors (neutrals, pinks, greens, etc.)
