Congratulations on your new place! Goals! One suggestion from a fellow interiors nerd, I think it's look really nice if you pulled the tile on the backsplash at your stove area all to the same height. That way when the sconces are on, the light will play off the tiles really beautifully since there's more of it and they're up closer to them. Just a thought.

I love the little room off the kitchen with all the windows since you have the beautiful island with stools, did you ever think of making the breakfast nook a little sitting room with a couple of comfy chairs for reading? The room probably gets some nice sun since it has windows on 3 sides. Just a thought, I have a room like that and we enjoy it more than any other room in the house. Good luck with your new home!
