In this very exciting moving vlog, we had our CLOSING DAY! We did our final walk through, signed all our closing documents, then spent the rest of that day unpacking our entire moving truck. The next day, we returned the u-haul truck & trailer, did a mini grocery shop, I deep cleaned the freezer & we had our first date night to celebrate being first time home buyers! The next day, we had our first guest! We explored the property & put him to work while I deep cleaned the fridge & oven. ENJOY!

I’m so impressed that you and Finley did the move mostly by yourselves. Unloading and loading a uhaul is no easy task. When I moved into the house I’m currently living in: I had to DEEP clean too after the previous owner left. It’s crazy, but I also would have probably done so anyways 😂.

We just moved into our house and from the day it closed 100 plus degrees everyday. We moved from a 5th wheel in to 1680 ft house with attached to car garage and a huge yard. Still over 100° 6 weeks later but we're loving it. I have everything mostly unpacked now except for a few things still over at the RV park in my office. The sellers left so much stuff in our house and barn when we bought it. I was so pissed, because I had specifically said that the barn needed to be empty. There are a lot of lessons we learned during our home buying experience and things we will do differently in the future. The biggest is definitely that we will not close without everything of the sellers being out.

Hey Meg! LIVING for these moving vlogs. I’m also a PT and can recommend getting your feet scanned at your local runners shop to determine your foot type and where pressure is distributed. Your shoes might not be supporting you where you need and exacerbating that throbbing foot pain! Love the blogs, feel good and live well!
