Tip for a dishwasher: position your plates, bowls, etc. upside down so they don't collect water. Don't worry, they'll still get clean! Hope you're enjoying your new apartment :)

Ava, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your videos. I recently just overcame a major milestone in my life that caused me to not be depressed anymore! Watching your video’s everyday was one of the only things that got me through the week. I think we would be amazing friends because I am just as organized as you! It’s so wild that some people truly don’t know how to use the dishwasher, or the laundry machines, etc. But it is so great that you were taking the initiative and learning how to do all of that! I wish you the best in your new, beautiful apartment! P. S. It truly is so fun having new, cute appliances, dishes, decorations, bedding. Everything!

So happy you're loving your apartment! A tip for the dishwasher is to have the bowls facing down, instead of up! That way if they catch water they can drain out before the drying setting starts!

My opinions on GG: I’m also a hardcore OG gossip girl stan but I’ve watched the new one too I think that there are areas of the show which are obviously very similar to the original but overall it is just like a completely different show both plot wise and when it comes to vibes.

Get some rinse air for your dishwasher! Helps get everything dry, there should be a little spot inside the door next to where you put the dishwasher pod for the rinse aid :)

First Time I moved out I cried a bunch and it took about a month for it to really feel like home. Once you have the place decorated, you'll be right as rain :) But it's good to let yourself process those feelings too!!! Whenever I visit my parents in Hawaii I cry when I leave cause I love being with them SO MUCH - So I like to think of the sadness is just an expression of love❤

watch the new gossip girl! its not a remake of the original at all - the only thing similar really is they go to the same school and they're rich. I really like it! its a lot more "mature" than the og and there's a lot of lgbtq representation! I definitely recommend - it didn't change my views on the og gossip girl at all bc its so different.

Tip: If ur dishwasher has just finished leave it open for a bit so it can cool down. Also the excess water is bc ur supposed to put ur bowls upside down (don’t worry they will get clean) :p

I have watched the OG gossip girl like 9 times and honestly the new one isn’t too bad. it definitely doesn’t compare to the original but it’s pretty entertaining and has someone interesting characters and storylines. I would recommend it !

Hi i am a new follower and i fr never comment buuut in case you don't already know... Nespresso has recyclable pods. They have information about it on their website, but essentially you can collect them in a mailable bag fill it up and send it off OR (I'm not sure were in HI you live) they have 1 drop off spot in Honolulu, HI. Ive seen that you are very positive about being environmentally friendly which is amazing and I'm sorry if you already know all of this or have covered it in a previous video!! Just thought if anyone else sees this comment that didn't know they could do their part. (also I believe by sending the pods in you could get points towards stuff, but I could be wrong about that) love your videos!

Getting excited about appliances is the epitome of adulting. Having so much fun watching you in this journey. In my first apartment we made tacos the first night then realized I had no knives to cut the lettuce and tomatoes. I ended up using scissors. Lol.

The reason your bowls were still wet after washing is because you put them on their side. When you put them upside down the water doesn't get 'trapped' in the bowl and it can just pour out of them
