Our last rental before we bought a house was a 1930s home with arch doorways, and I loved it. A Christmas tree in your home will be beautiful. That's the first thing I thought about when we moved apartments and then got into the home-buying process.

Hey there! For the lamp issue, just put some thick books under it and you can cover them with a table napkin or runner to hide them. I’ve done this countless times for different lamps 😊

God is so so good!🙌 I found out this January that I was pregnant and having to find a new home on short amount of time was not easy but we managed! It’s amazing how everything comes into place at the right moment💛

LOVE your new home!! One idea! In your family room what about putting your couch against the shorter wall and your tv on the larger wall? That way maybe your windows that are so beautiful by the way wouldn’t be blocked. Then the pup could look out the windows. I know the couch would come out some but it might not be a huge deal. Just a thought 😊
I’m 21 weeks right now and the pillow I’m loving is a Oternal pregnancy pillow from Amazon! It’s essentially 2 pillows attached so it keeps me on my side and gives back support and then I had a normal looking pregnancy pillow that just didn’t give me the back support and I use that on my left side to lay my head on and put between my legs for extra support but the smaller one has been wonderful for keeping me on my sides I usually only wake up once on my back

Suggestion on a lamp situation you can place the lamp on a like wood stool like the one you were standing on in kitchen but more aesthetic looking. So gives the illusion of the lamp being taller but it’s actually sitting on the stool.

What about putting the lamp on the plant stand and having the plant on just a small stand so as to no ruin the floor underneath? My favorite part of the video is Cash’s nose in frame as you sat on the floor and spoke. 🐶

Your home is so beautiful! Cash looks so happy, too! Also, when I was pregnant with my kids I used a simple body pillow and it helped me get better sleep! It was more firm than soft!

This is so sweet. I’m pregnant with my first baby too and am 18 weeks! To answer your pregnancy pillow recommendations, I got the long baby bub pillow and have really liked it. I do want to order a smaller one for behind my back to help with support. The baby bub pillow has been so nice though with having to sleep on my side and help with lower back/hip pain!
I've been through 2 pregnancy and somehow always managed to find myself on my back sleeping and nothing ever negative happened, so just throwing it out there that if you wake up on your back don't panic!
