In this video we will be mowing a very overgrown lawn with a Cub Cadet 22 in. 159 cc Gas Walk-Behind String Trimmer ST 100. in this example of very crazy mowing conditions the cub cadet walk-behind trimmer plowed right through cutting tall grass that was very overgrown like it was nothing. tall grass cutting / extreme mowing with this machine was very easy. I hope that you enjoy this video of one of our viewer Jesse and I Mowing very overgrown lawn.

The assembly of the lawn mower could be done without any problems ru-vid.comUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend I just puzzled something about the red strange “key”. However, it quickly turned out that this creates a kind of contact bridge between battery packs and lawn mowers. An additional backup as a father of a 1 year old nephew is great!! :-)

@@LawnCareJuggernaut - He's right. However, what you can write off varies. You can at least write off all of the expenses (fuel, trimmer line, blades) and a certain amount of the time spent as being 'advertising'. The number of hours you put into production of the videos, and then putting them on RU-vid, is advertising costs. You _do_ give the name of your business, you give the location where you work, the kind of work that you do, and even an idea of the costs for hiring you for service. That's advertising.

It's about 2 acres and a garden tractor is needed because of the hilly terrain. We use our old 1650 I.H. Cub Cadet (48" deck from the 80s), a Craftsman mulching mower, and a Troy Bilt TB70SS trimmer. I love to mow my lawn but I'm a truck driver and gone 2 to 3 weeks at a time. I'm so thankful for guys that mow lawns as a business. I tried a "professional " company called LAWN PROS . What a racket. My wife called after they left to tell me she couldn't tell they cut ANYTHING and they didn't weed eat or edge like they told me they would and was there a total of 10 minutes. All my wife could notice was tire tracks but zero clippings and the grass was almost as tall as the neighbors who hadn't cut in 3 weeks. When I called their office they said sorry they'll cut it lower NEXT week and weed eat then. WRONG answer, in my opinion they should have came back and done it right then not a week later . The solo guy I called did what I asked and only wanted to charge $30 . We paid him $50 and he has a full time customer. Big national / regional companies are not better !! Its the independent small guys that give extra and seem to have more pride in their work.

I used to work for a mortgage servicing company, and you're correct! They will not pay for anything. That cut you did, the bank would have asked for a bid - twice- and even then would only pay $50 or so to cut it, IF they even got it done. Most of the time they would literally wait for a city violation. I'm sure they neighborhood appreciates all you did there!

It's been over half a century ago that I did most of my mowing. My people appreciated the job I did, because I was taught by my Father that it was a direct reflection of me; my lawns were my billboards. He taught me to ask how my customer wanted it done, then do it. Afterwards, I would then go and ask if my customer saw anything more they wanted. I got paid well and fifty plus years ago, that money helped me get a four year college degree without a penny of debt. Some years later, I worked for a guy who espoused the belief that there were lesser people whose time wasn't worth as much as his, so he paid those people to mow his lawn. I have always resented that attitude, even if it may be true. You are correct, lawn care is an honorable way to earn money, and it is a worthwhile service that is needed. I guess those of us who have profited from this work shouldn't get to put out with the arrogant so long as we are fairly compensated. I rarely had to bag clippings, but I found that shooting them onto hard services, sidewalks, driveways or lastly streets was much quicker and easier to gather up.

After I got a "notice" from the city they have been there for me. Your comments about the negative image of lawncare persons: I am a 73-year-old retired teacher & I did my own lawncare for as many years as I could. I found that I needed for someone else to do it for me back in about 1996 or so. I always did a good job keeping my lawn & decorative plant & lawn features, too. I am a country girl & my outdoor life is most important. I was always fortunate to find someone like you who also appreciates the beauty of a well maintained & healthy lawn. Without those fine young men, my employees through the years, I could not have had that pleasure. Today, I have the largest lawn ever with multiple beds & separate decorative features. I cannot maintain my own property by myself now. I cannot even weed my Day Lilies or trim my shrubs, but the fine young businessman who works for me has all my respect & appreciation - lucky me ‼️🍀‼️🍀‼️🍀 ‼️

By adding a leaf collection system to the Zero Turn, it would help fall clean up with ease. You could also use to pick up excessive grass clippings on thick grass. Double mulching all of the area, until the grass is properly mulched. Remove if excessive.

Thanks for bringing in some up-and-coming motivated men. Do not be afraid to charge for what you do and do not undervalue yourself. The guy in your vid already put a few grand into his gear and it will get the job done. That gear will buy gear that makes him more efficient but is paid for by the first gear. These walk behind string trimmers help a lot to clean up around “unknown areas”, places that may have concrete, rocks, chunks of wood hidden. With one of these, it goes right through grass and weeds and you can tell a hard object is there by the string screaming against it. Much better than a big blade being bent on a barbell weight that just happens to be laying in the yard. I like my string trimmer better than my mower, by far. Also, I have back and knee trouble and this trimmer is like Heaven compared to humping my big self propelled Honda around. Not that I have a lawn business, but I don’t recommend self propelled and especially expensive mowers on rocky, uneven and very steep yards. If you want to mow a steep, rocky, new yard, let it be the cheap, light mower that you play with! I always mow towards the middle of the yard so no discharge in the neighbor’s yard. Just mulch it up multiple times. Grass in streets is like gravel, slippery with a motorcycle.

You do a great job.My neighbor does lawn care.He does the whole street so yeah 24/7 lawnmower, weedeaters and leafblower. If you don't like the noise then move out of town or get better windows and close them.I like the way the whole street looks good and clean and you would swear the grass never grows just stays perfect.

I like to call myself a juggernut... That is because I love your channel. There's no good reason why I do. I do not cut lawns. I could not even cut my own because of my own abilities. But I enjoy seeing you and do such good work for people who for whatever reason could not do it for themselves. Fortunately I can afford to and I do hire it done. Oh, I do little things like fertilize easy things. But cutting is beyond my physical limitation. So thank you for doing what you do. I appreciate it and I know that they do.

I love my high wheel trimmer... I would love a gas weed eater, but I have MS and my arms don't have the strength anymore to hold one, where the high wheel trimmer I can work with as long as I can work for! I just buy heavy duty line and cut it to length... you don't have to buy the precut ones. I have a craftsman, and have been using them for about the past 15 years. I am so thankful my son takes care of the mowing because I have about 3/4 of an acre and I couldn't keep up on it without him! So thank you for helping so many that just can't do it themselves!

I love how youtube changes the economics of every day life. Doing this job basically "for the lulz" is cool in and of itself, and getting 200k plus views sort of pays for the work and then some. So the community gets a great benefit and the rest of us get sort of relaxing videos and some sage advice. All good.

Love this video Kevin, you have really opened up the ears of individuals with terminology they may have never heard. Now they can go look up these terms and see how its applicable to them because some only know 1 side out of the 3 sides of the business. 1. Skills and productivity 2. Sales, marketing, and advertising 3. Administration

WOW!!! Love the Cub Cadet trimmer! Was nice that you let Jesse run your zero point turn mower. Though he DOES have some things to learn as far as not blowing all the grass in the street. he started to blow it all on the neighbors lawn , which he has to learn that NOW that is extra work, to clean all that up, what a mess!! Sigh. Personally I Like the way Kevin does it better, cause it keeps the clippings contained to the lawn and not ALL OVER THE PLACE, cause as I stated, NOW he has a mess all over the neighbors lawn and that NOW Kevin has to go back and blow back off the neighbors lawn and onto the deserted homes lawn.. but at some point he will learn that what you do is better and less work in the long run..

Discharge only back into the lawn, never in the street or the neighbor's yard; if it requires multiple passes, so be it. I had the street patrol plus a neighbor that would not want ANY discharge on his property. Just sharing, thanks juggernaut

I've used one of those little push weedeaters. Holy crap, they're amazing! I used one in my last marriage, my grandmother-in-law bought one and we did her yard work and any maintenance she needed for the price of rent on another property she let us live in. We used it around the pond, through the field she had where there was nothing but kudzu, and along the gravel driveway. I won't lie. It was nice to have. Especially the thicker line you have. We had a lot of trees to go around, and you learn quickly how far away you need to be to not tear up a young fruit tree and stuff. It's good stuff.
