i never mow in the rain, i always cancel and do it another day or skip another week and add a small ' surgcharge ' to the customers the following week ' of course...here in idaho..you may get 1 or 2 rainy days all season from april to october, its pretty ' dry ' it just never looks good, the grass flies all over in chunks, it doesn't cut well, and the machine gets clogged with grass, plus its not easy on the blade.
Dude you are an incredible man! I’m only 16 and I mow yards, but you inspire me so much! Keep up all your hard work and you will be so well off man! How do you manage school and running your business? I’m right at yr age so I’m wondering if you have any advice🤣. Thx man and God bless!
On those really leaf-saturated lawns why aren't you doing leaf clean ups yet? Couldn't you be easily making more money and making it look better by doing a clean up now? Great job keep it up
Do u have a Exmark turf tracer walk-behind mower or a stand-on mower or 🚫???????? If yes can you make a video of y'all using it but if 🚫 thanks anyway. (You know like a Exmark, Scag, Toro, etc.)
Great videos, great mower for what your doing there is a Walker, you would of left a nicer cut and picked up the leaves at the same time, get yourself a dumper insert for your pickup and dump everything in there. Less time blowing
Honestly if you’re not going to be grinding up the leaves I would not be mowing at this point if you let it grow up a little bit and mulch with a mulching kit the leaves mulch way better with a little bit of grass and you can also hide it in the grass a lot better if you cut it higher
It's actually A LOT. Like 4 to 5 times more work but at least the lawn will look prettier without the leaf crumbs. That's what I usually do in Fall. Clean as much leaves as possible then mow. Lose 10 pounds of sweat and it's worth it.
Hey Henrik -- we all get it that a teenager with a company, all this equipment and fellow teenage employees is a cool thing....you don't have to keep telling us.
Personally myself y’all are doing good but I would of cleaned leaves first and make proper turns work the zero turn keep both wheels rolling the same way other then that y’all are doing good 👍
Good way to lose a customer! Massive open cut machine on wet grass, trimmer going the wrong way around the property putting the grass in the mulch bed, then the young fella on the mower goes and does the same thing.
i picked up 3 clients because they would always mow in the rain and make ' grass slushies ' the term us lawnmower guys use to describe the green chunky pieces that get ' clogged ' under your machine, they get spit out after a while of air suction and fly all over, and with that the grass never gets cut well, the mower gets packed with grass, and it makes more of a mess, best option is to skip a day.
