I love it l!!! Saving up a big down payment for this set up but with a mulcher. All my friends are getting brand new diesels, side by sides, snow sleds, that’s cool but I want this lol! I can finally start my business high demand in my area
I wish you the best of luck! It can be a lot of fun. Sometimes stressful but that’s with everything. I wish I had a machine that would run a mulcher. That would be helpful! Thanks so much for commenting
Great video man! How bad is it mowing without a door on the skid steer? I just got a brush cutter and I’m worried about debris flying at me . I’ll mostly be cutting grass and smash bushes
It’s sketchy if you raise the cutter up and tilt it forward. It’s very dangerous. It’s best to keep it on the ground. But sometimes gotta raise it. Just be careful. Grass and weeds and tiny trees are no problem and not sketchy at all.
I have the exact same machine and set up. Are you brush hogging in one way flow or two way flow with detent mode? And what does your auxiliary hydraulics usally run at on the first flow rate setting temperature wise? Thanks.
I think it’s 2 way flow. I push the orange button below the left stick. I think it was running 177 ish degrees on a 100 degree day in South Georgia. Next time I run it I’ll pay more attention to that
Are you having to hold the left rocker switch to keep your mower engaged or does the “A” or “B” button turn it on or off? I bought a 2016 TL8 but have to hold the left thumb rocker.
You don’t have to hold it. Press the orange detent button located below the left stick and hit one of the circular buttons below the rocker on the left stick. Let me know if that fixes it. Also make sure your hydro speed it set to the fasted (I think that’s the number 1 indicator at the top of the gauge cluster)
This is an American attachment brand. I probably would try to get something other than this one. I don’t like the way the blade carrier is designed. It is prone to damage. If you watch my other video brush hogging the woods with a Takeuchi skid steer you can see this mower in more detail. The blade carrier needs to be more of a circle design instead of a straight carrier. If you hit a piece of metal in the woods with a circular blade carrier it would be less likely to bend or warp. If you hit a piece of metal with the straight blade carrier it will more likely bend it. I hit a piece of railroad track in the woods and it destroyed my blade carrier and I had to order a whole new carrier. Get one that is a circular design. Go look at that video I have and you will better see how this one is and stay away from that kind.
