Hi George, HEVC is also known as H.265, VLC doesn't support this format yet. Have a look for a H.265 player. This new compression is the same as what apple are using in IOS 11, have a look at this article from appleinsider: www.google.ie/amp/appleinsider.com/articles/17/09/30/gopro-turns-to-hevc-compression-for-hero-6-black-same-codec-used-by-apple-in-ios-11-and-macos-high-sierra/amp/
If you don't fear using Linux, Cinelerra is a pretty professional Video Editor that works good with HEVC (h.265) but kdenlive works too, all you need is a powerful Pc and a recent Distibution. Kdenlive works on Windows too, but its Performance is not that great imo due to poor Multicore Usage.
You will probably find pal in the near future a plug in will appear for what ever editing software your using right now as we all know the GoPro is so popular most companys will patch there product with a plug in. as for your lap top performance its going to need some grunt to power 4K at 60 smoothly, i even have problems watching peoples video's uploaded at 60 fps but i believe thats a problem with Crome. loving a bit of mowing great video, i am chomping at the bit waiting to get in the maize with me camera.
George, the below programmes are free, and good to help laptop and computer speeds / Maintenance. Defragger sorts all your files into a logical order. Malware bytes is good for deleting malware. Finally the cc cleaner gives your laptop a general clean. Good luck.
George, try 5KPlayer (free) if it's H.265/HEVC format you're talking about. VLC Player is supposed to handle it, but not very well apparently. A decent laptop/desktop should manage the larger format files.
I really enjoy your videos George. I have a limited farming background but extensive cattle ranching history. So I am very experienced with equipment. I wanted to ask you if you have operated the fordson majors much? My uncle Tom in Montana USA has 6 of them and they all still run and function just like new. His father imported them back in the early 1950s. They were the very first tractors I learned how to operate as a kid. Anyway I'm a big fan of your videos and listening to your commentary lol keep up the good work and God Bless. Best regards Ernie from Arizona USA
Hi George, great vid as always. try VLC media player. that is what i use and plays pretty much anything. editing wise i use sony vegas. not sure if that would run it as mine is a couple of years old but could look into it.
Sure is quiet. I´ve done some mowing with old Fiat and crappy mower.. But I did get paid very well though. Does the stones rise on the surface? In Finland they are pain in butt. One day I had to change 5 or 6 times a new blade to the mower. They were the little ones
Great camera with the stabilisation you won’t feel sick watching this and thanks for the shout out George on the other video and keep the great vids coming 👍
correct me if I'm wrong George but cant you only upload in 1080p on youtube if so why worry with 4k ive got the 5 the 6 isn't even available in the u.s. yet.
Hi George thanks for the shout out yes we have one hell of a time getting harvest finished we are hoping to get finished today we have 95 acre of wheat left to cut and around 1800 acre to drill the case combine is away now so back down to 3 combines 2 Claas 760’s and the 780. Nice to see a bit of silage getting cut another great video from yourself
There isn't much point in going over 1080 for u tube as the upload time is too slow and as far as I know the human eye can't see hardly any more pixels than that. With a 4K telly the human eye can't see 4K from more than 7 ft, so it's pointless buying a 4K telly.
